Hey there! This is a custom set featuring cards using this mechanic and/or synergize with this mechanic.
(To inscribe, create a Pact token. It's an artifact with "{4}, Sacrifice this artifact: Draw a card. This ability costs {1} less to activate for each other creature or Pact you've sacrificed this turn.")
I'll release all of my cards featuring this mechanic on here. HOWEVER, I'd love to see your take on this mechanic too! If you'd like to make a card with this mechanic, just post it on here, and it'll get a favourite from me! For every third card you post on here that includes this mechanic, I'll favourite three other cards of yours! You'd also get a follow from me (TheBiggestBrainMindsculptor).

I suppose the very nature of Pacts can nonbo with Hexbane, unless you activate your first one without having sacrificed any creatures that turn either. Hexbane and Mirror of Multiplicity probably wouldn't go into the same deck, which is fine. It gives variety to how people might play with Inscribe rather than channelling everyone into one "right way" to use the mechanic.
"...rather than channelling everyone into one "right way"..." honestly, that's really smart for you to say, lol. I'm hoping I can make more of my own cards for this mechanic, so this insight is very helpful.
Cards that facilitate 1) could have manaless abilities that let you eat a Pact for an effect (i.e., giving up the card to reduce the activation cost of all other Pacts that turn) or that give other abilities to your Pacts or turn them into creatures, so they have added use while you're setting up for a big turn (and give you an alternate pathway to victory).
Cards that facilitate 2) could have abilities that count the mana spent to activate a Pact (E.g., gain 1 life for each mana spent to activate a Pact) or only trigger when X or more mana is spent to activate a Pact or trigger at the end of the turn if you sacrificed exactly one Pact that turn or keep track of the number of Pacts you've sacrificed that game and give you a recurring bonus/"level up" based on that number.
The main reason I made this forum was in hope for people to contribute to this mechanic. Having cards from various creators could really strengthen an archetype. And so far, it’s doing amazing, lol. I’m grateful for that.
