    Why doesn't legendary just prevent damage dealt by creatures your opponents control? In the end, the effect is the same.

    @CrucibleOfHate Well, Legendary is an ability followed by a number, I used X on this card, but as i'm sure you've already guessed, you can use any number instead of X. So Legendary 1 would mean you would prevent all damage that is dealt to him by creatures with power 1 or less.
