Surveying the Land (Daily Mini-challenges: How will you respond?)

After defending the Earth, its inhabitants are finally able to rest in peace. However, the attacks have left the current land heavily damage. Now, people seek out new lands in which to inhabit. Farmers are looking for land to till, civilians are looking for a place to live, and mages are looking for mana to tap into. How will you respond?

Rules:

- There is a challenge every day. Be sure to scroll down so that you respond to the correct challenge!

- Limit 1 entry per mini-challenge.

- Lands are your only option for obvious reasons unless otherwise stated.

- No anonymous entries.

- By entering a mini-challenge you are contributing the entered card(s) to the Earthrealm collaborative set, if I choose to accept it. You will be given credit for your work, but I may modify your card slightly.

After suffering heavy losses and extensive damage, the Hyperbase Squadron moves out to seek a new place to build a base. When they arrive, the land must be suitable for raising and sustaining an army. The Hyperbase's colors are white and blue with a splash of black and a tiny bit of red on special occasions, and note that their strategy is to keep the opponents guessing and control the entire game. You may make the land, or you may make the base. The choice is up to you.

Doesn't produce colored mana, activated ability might be undercosted, but I hope this meets the criteria. I was focusing more on the control aspect, and wanted to mess around and think outside of the box. Had fun making it!

I am sorry for missing yesterday! Guess we'll skip a challenge...

The great scouts @kauyon, @Commander_Paratus, @TheCopyrightContinuum, @ImBadAtBalancing, @gterww123, and @AlphaOmega have reported back to the Hyperbase with their findings. A couple pieces of land were sanctioned to the factions of nature, and the rest was rapidly claimed.

Now, a trail of blood drags through the war-torn land. It could only be the Nigheto!

The Nigheto crave new "hunting grounds" to lay the blood of their enemies upon! They use black and red, crave flesh and war, and breath chaos and fear, using mechanics such as devour and sacrificing. Make a land for them to thrive upon!

Don't worry, @gterww123. I've been making cycles lately due to lack of ideas that would fit in my set -_- (Noticed I'm making my own land cycle?)

Thanks to the help of many more scouts ( @RedRageMage, @kauyon, @Gelectrode, @gterww123, @GodOfWar, and @Kinojitsu_Asahi) the Nigheto's hunger for battlegrounds. Now, the Great Mind Mage Zypher has sent a decree for land! He is a blue/black/white mage that specializes in control magic and the use of planeswalkers, artifacts, and counters, namely the mechanic proliferate. Grant him new land or a new place to rule from.

Report from the edges of the Dark Continent; waves of shadow scud across the landscape, which is marshy and full of caverns. Ideal location to create an outpost - the dark mists present an interesting opportunity for self-defense, and could possibly be harnassed as a weapon.
