thanks, but what about my cards? I made them specifically for this thread. each one follows a different style, the first one being a rather intresting one(let me know if I should change the mana cost, as It is probably OP as hell.)
@stormbreath Well you never asked for a review. Hm... Get your head on straight. First things first, captialize. Proper grammar, punctuation, italicize, spacing, don't let words bleed into the borders, and update your syntax. Right now, no matter how clever and functionally sound they are, they just look ugly. The cards themselves, I don't want ro review right now, so here's the gist: Sisay, while I like the reference, and it really fits the original, is REALLY friggin powerful. Like, Kaalia of the Vast powerful. Cleridra is a very white, very angel card, but as a legendary, since she only prevents damage, I would suggest lowering her p/t to 3/4 and making her cost 5. She would then be significantly better. That's all Imma put into this.
@CrucibleOf Hate- thanks for the frank and honest review, I'll pump up the mana cost of sisay's ability and change cleridra, but don't forget that clerindra has adjunct and prevents damage equal to her latest casting cost.
Well, now that no one is posting... @Everyone should this be an actual contest, with scores and all that jazz? It would hardly be fair, since I never gave a basis for what I would score.
No seriously. I'll go score these cards now, using whatever scale I want, and get back to you later. You three haven't actually won (yet). Sorry for lying to ya!
Ok, so I'll just do this quickly and sloppily, get it over with. Like tearing off a band-aid. Or your scalp.
I sat and debated with myself for the longest time about how to score this stuff, and then I realized it wasn't a contest at first, so I have no obligation to be unbiased. (Scumbag Crucible, I know.)
I would write huge reviews on all the cards, but then I'd have to justify my choices, so I won't.
First place to @Animist , literally because I said so. I liked Nuruka, Second to One more than all the other cards submitted here, and I honestly don't know why. Probably the art. :P
Second place to @GodOfWar for Tesskre, Word of Betrayal. I picked this one because it's the only card that took advantage of the inevitable adjunct deck without outright exploiting it. Is what I would say. In reality, he just makes it so much worse. Now, you don't even have to pay the extra commander costs, you just bounce all your legendaries out of the graveyard for the rest of the game. Congratulations, for breaking adjunct more than anyone else.
Third place was very nearly a tie, but I decided I wasn't going to have a tie, so I flipped a coin. You will never know who the other Cardsmith was. @koover with Vexar, Butcher of Rakdos takes third place. For reasons. (I'm really starting to hate myself for this.) He seemed balanced, I liked the idea of Peonage, and he had a reason to be an Adjunct, functionally and flavorfully. Why did you get the most praise, when you took third place? Now i'm confusing myself! Anyways stuff.
Honorable Mentions: Everyone who bothered to post. Yes, even you, @Corwinnn You make it worth every second of wasting your time. I could probably do this without you, but it isn't nearly as fun if no one insults me. Don't you just love it when I'm an a**hole openly? Neither do I. *sigh*
Because I'm feeling particularly dastardly today, all three of you get the same prize. However, you three have to decide what that prize is. This'll be fun, @Animist@GodOfWar@koover XD
@CrucibleOfHate Thanks for the feedback, but I demand an upgrade to 1st place (MOST WORDS!!) How about one custom card with three characters? @Animist@GodOfWar e.g. Triad of WhateverYou'llFigureOutSomethingCool
@Animist@koover@GodOfWar due to GodOfWar's lack of commenting, I suppose I must now make a card representing all three of you. This will be unpleasant. And take a very long time. Dammit, @Corwinnn
@koover I promise I will try my friggin' hardest, usually the harder I try the worse i end up doing. The one exception to this is Three Sins, which I spent a LONG time working on. I'd say that came out well, but other than that, I suck. :P
@CrucibleOfHate you just have no self confidence. you make great cards, but don't think that they are good because you think that you are no good. YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST CARD CREATORS THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. You just have to believe in yourself.
Here's the reward card. After listening to what you had to say, I rebalanced it a bit. It's as good as I could make it, so throw things @Corwinnn, not me.

please tell me about any mistakes I made, oh, and colud you check out the cards I have on the "epic elves" thread, and maybe leave a review? not a demand, but a request, just saying.
XD
@TheCopyrightContinuum wins for defeating the point of adjunct.
@Tomigon wins for confusing me.
@Animist wins because I say so.
It's a three way tie. No prizes. XD

That's right, Corwinnn, I did it. If it's underwhelming, you have only yourself to blame.
Anyway, sorry for sucking.
