Card contest: Chrono Trigger!
A tribute to one of the best RPG's of all time - hopefully some of you guys love it as much as I do.
Theme: Your card should be inspired by the Chrono Trigger universe! For this challenge, I would discourage using planeswalkers to represent any of the characters. If selecting a subject from the future time period, do exercise caution to keep things thematically compatible with the MtG universe.
Rules/Criteria: Rule #1 of the Chrono Trigger contest is, if you have not yet played Chrono Trigger, go play Chrono Trigger :P (But seriously!)
Each entrant will be judged on only one submission. You may submit more than one, but unless otherwise noted, your last submission will be used for the contest. Cards should be balanced. Among balanced cards, one prize will be awarded for creativity, one for flavor, and one for elegance of mechanics.
Prizes:
First 10 entrants will all receive feedback on their submissions.
Top entrant for creativity will receive a favorite on their submission plus 3 other cards in their account.
Top entrant for flavor will receive a favorite on their submission plus 3 other cards in their account.
Top entrant for elegance will receive a favorite on their submission plus 3 other cards in their account.
Honorable mentions will receive a favorite on their submission plus one other card in their account.
Time: Submissions close 11/27 (Friday) night. Results posted by Sunday.

One of the funnest bosses to fight in the game, and also a super important character.
Lavos, The World's End

- The prize for creativity goes to @Suicidal_Deity's Spekkio, Master of War
- The prize for flavor goes to @kauyon's Crono, Timeless Seeker
- The prize for elegance goes to @CascadingCuccos's Lavor, the World's End
Kauyon - I'm glad someone chose to do Crono (though kind of bummed no one stepped up for Magus or Frog :P ) The card is balanced, and the mechanics fit well with the colors. And, while the first two abilities do feel a bit generic, the last two are awesomely flavorful within the context of the game's story, so congrats! It also gets you curious what the Chrono Trigger card would be like.
Suicidal Deity - I'm guessing you must like this game and have played it at least a couple times, since you chose one of the minor characters, which earns you the creativity prize. Also, the tapping ability is quite inspired and creative as well (but also quite flavorful since just from the mechanic one can get the reference!)
CascadingCucco - This is my favorite card overall (I was almost tempted to give you both the flavor and the elegance prizes :P ) First of all the flavor text is simple, but well-chosen! It is a great allusion. But what I really love about this card is the first ability - it is so evocative of that final fight between Lavos and the party!

Back on topic... if you guys will nominate 3 of your cards that you would like me to favorite, that would make it quicker!
Just had fun making the card.
I was gonna make Spekkio a transform card at first, but art for him is few and far between.
Also wanted to make a card for Masa and Mune, just haven't been on my 'puter that much.
And yes, I love this game. Truly a beloved classic from my youth.
Absolutely!
