Abilities for my new set.

Hey guys, i have no ideas for abilities, so could you give me some, if you created it, or not! As long as it's not monstrosity, i already have that. I trust you guys to give me some good ones!

  • Prototype (When this creature enters the battlefield for the first time, you may put a -1/-1 counter on it. If you do, when this creature leaves the battlefield, put it on the top of your library instead.)
  • Dissonant- (blah, blah, blah) that are not the same color as (this spell).
  • Lurk X (Whenever you would draw this card, you may reveal it. If you do, put it X card(s) from the top of your library and target player discards a card for each time (this spell)'s lurk ability has been activated.)
  • Invest X (When you cast this spell, you may pay X life. If you do, whenever this spell leaves the battlefield, you may gain X life.)
  • I like prototype, dissonant is a definite yes, and maybe on lurk X, thanks for the ideas!
  • Rune (As this spell resolves, you may exile it onto a nonland permanent you control. Whenever an activated ability is activated on that nonland permanent, you may cast this spell without paying its mana cost.)
  • I will probably use rune.
  • Invest X YES PERFECT one of the main things for my set is black and white!

    My pride and joy:
    Assailant (Whenever this creature survives combat or a fight, fight the enemy creatures that blocked, were blocked by, or fought this creature.) Red, some Black
    Maybe the wording's a bit off, but you get it, yeah?
  • Here are some others I like:

    Lockout (Whenever a creature this creature dealt damage to this turn dies, exile it instead.) White, some Blue

    Rush (If this creature is unblocked, all other friendly creatures with Rush are also unblocked.) Red, some White or Black

    Savage (This creature has +1/+1 and Double Strike when blocking, being blocked by, or fighting a creature that shares a creature type with this creature.) Black, some Red

    here is one: Cast Aside. a sample card to go with it

    Path of Sorrows
    3bb-Sorcery

    destroy target creature. that creature's controller must Cast Aside his deck until the begining of his next turn.

    (Cast Aside is meant to be a sort of "lock out" ie: Cast Aside effectively removes a card from play, while still allowing searches or removal(no draws, or moving zones. you can still scry and reshuffle, but you can't draw. Cast Aside can also be used at instant-speed to save a creature from a kill spell, but will drop all enchants and artifacts attached to the creature.)
  • Here is my fav: Fireburn X - (Whenever this card deals combat damage, you may pay . If you do, Angel of Fire deals X damage to target player.)

    Its very powerful however, so give it a low Fireburn cost on a common/uncommon creature. Be careful, as it can easily become overpowered and is a dangerous mechanic to use on your cards.
