Favourite Colour to Play

Hi everybody! I'm just wondering what your favourite MTG colour to play is, and why. I'm just interested, I don't really know why. Also, if you prefer playing with 2 or 3 colours, explain which ones they are and why.

I went through my decks one time, because I thought that I had way more BR than anything else... it turns out I use all the colors pretty evenly. I think because my philosophy is that each color has something awesome to bring to the table, and the trick is finding a great way to build a deck around the idea that each color sparks in your mind.

I like green, blue, and red, either separate, in a wedge, or in any of the two-color guilds..

Mine favorite color combo would have to be U/B/G. It's basically the color combo that doesn't have to give a crap about anything (or at least for my Sultai deck). You burn my creature? Awesome, now I've got Delve fuel. You try milling me or forcing me to discard? Same. And all the while I'm just gathering my 6/6's, chump block zombies, and whatnot, moving in for the kill when I'm ready. It's got it all; big creatures, counterspells, creature removal, buffs, maybe even a bit of lifegain. I love it.

If you're going with shard colors, I'd have to say W/U/B would be my second favorite. This color combo is the one for my Transguild Azorius/Orzhov themed deck, which is lifegain/control. I get to detain your stuff while also extort my stuff when it comes into play, and if you don't die from either extort or One Thousand Lashes (which is both control AND lifegain XD), then I can finish you off with my creatures while you're defenseless.

Esper because it's so complicated to play. My least favorite color is red, unless you're playing some sort of interesting deck like goblin tribal. Because burn takes no skill to play, or at least, most of the time it takes no skill to play.

White and green are certainly the best: White can be defensive and useful early game, while green comes in later and destroys everything.

I love every color. I will play any deck you hand me. White and Jeskai are my definite favorites in terms of flavor and playstyle.

Love me some Blue Red. I love all the old Izzet cards. Which is funny, because until i went up against a friend running a red/black/blue deck, i thought blue wasn't all that great... Now, I love it.

Blue and green are the best colors because they have all of the best combo cards and blue has half of all the shenanigans (Doubling Season, Intruder Alarm, Fastbond/Earthcraft, Freed From The Real, Mind Over Matter, etc. are all Simic, and Mana Maze, Eye of the Storm, and Hive Mind are all blue.)

I also like blue and green. Because there are many combos in those colors. But combo deck is fun only when I building it. Playing combo deck is boring sometimes. When it comes to the game, I prefer control deck or aggro deck with some interesting mechanics. Those decks are more thrilling. So my favorite color to PLAY is black . Black has both aspect of aggro and control.

All the colors have they're fun attributes, Green for tokens, Blue for mill/control, White for exile,Black for graveyard, Red for aggro and even colorless for great abilities. but id have to say that my favorite color set is Esper, it's fun and confusing to play.

I enjoy playing all colors, but if I had to choose, I'd pick either blue or green. I enjoy the defensive deck style, countering spells and casting large defenders early, then casting that one game-changing spell.

Hydra Broodmaster, Voyaging Satyr, and Nykthos, Shrine To Nyx make a great combo.

The hydra has the ability: xxg: monstrosity x: Put x +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes monstrous. When this creature becomes monstrous, put X X/X green hydra creature tokens into play.
The satyr allows you to untap target land by tapping it.
Nykthos is my favorite: 2, T: choose a color. Add an amount of mana to your mana pool equal to your devotion to that color.
Needless to say, you can create quite a powerful army. Even without the satyr or Nykthos, I've created 5 5/5 hydras and made the broodmaster into a 12/12. If I'd had all three, I could probably have had 10 10/10s and a 17/17.

I like green because I like having creatures that are really strong. I also like blue, and red. I am not to fond of white or black.

I almost always use either green/white or green/black. I love the way green has exactly what you need to boost other colors. So, my most use color is green. Black and white are both good, blue is too. I simply don't like red. It just seems way too straightforward.

Depends on my mood. I looooove UR all the time because I dont give a crap. My most often used color is BG because everyone overlooks it. Then again, if I really really REALLY mad, I bring on my WUB deck. "Sorry, but you can't do anything for the rest of the game. Looks life I have to peck you to death with my Little Girl."

Blue/white. There are plenty of chances to draw cards, get +1/+1 counters, make things indestructible, and you can get a great variety of powers and toughness onto the battlefield. Also Ephara Rules!

Red is my favorite, for the dragons, elementals, and Chandra. Combining red with blue or black is also a lot of fun.

Black is my go to color. It's in all my decks except maybe five of them. It just, KILLS. Also, out of those decks that have black, more than half of them have green. My one mono deck is black,and it's infect. (Don't judge me.) My favorite color combo is probably BUG, and that's thanks to Mimeoplasm infect. (NOW you can judge me.)
