  • Fatal conquest is great! I don’t know if you saw this but Stone Spirit is the name of an existing card.
  • Yeah, I like the art of Fatal Conquest. I wish it wasn't so crisp because you can tell the art was done in the 20th century. I liked the art of Stone Spirit but I remember that card now. I have since been doing -name checks- lol when I can.
  • I won some "favorites" what do I do with them?
  • @hinges Put a message to Jpastor with links to the cards that you want him to favorite. I'm not sure what that does, but you got them!

Your names don't agree on Fatal Conquest/Conflict.
  • oh? Lol. I was debating on names. I must have missed it.
  • I was falling asleep while making it. I did this from home so I will have to wait until I get back. I've noticed a lesser quality in pictures if I try to 'screen capture' the image.

  • They’re all wonderful cards. Good job!
  • This concludes uncommons?
  • Yes it does! They're great work.

Thank you for all the great flavor.

Here are the 32 cards we have at Rare at the moment: https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Scott_Anderson/sets/30583

Here are some more candidates for the last eight spots:
    https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Scott_Anderson/sets/30412

We need one red, one green, three blue, and one white spell.

Additionally we need three cards split between artifacts and lands.

I like your butterfly, but it's at Mythic and the template is a little off. I remade them and linked them in the comments of your butterly.
  • Arg, maybe I should have said: Dwarf Captain
  • Dwarf Cleric
  • We could have one p.walker but maybe we can have one flipper card for each color. That way the butterfly fits nicely.
  • Sure, that sounds good to me. One flip card in each color.
  • Should we use your butterfly flipper?

I like the card but she is your card - would you like to use your art and my wording?

Actually, I really like the card.

One other thing, should the creature type match? Maybe she’s an insect faerie on both sides.
  • Hmm, do werewolves do that? I was kinda wanting her to be an insect on one side as her avatar type. Maybe Insect Avatar? I like your art very much but I would like to use the art I picked. Your art is better, but in MTG I find charm in art that isn't perfect. It makes it feel mystical to me, as if someone saw this thing and did their best to make a picture of it and put it in a book. Kinda like the bad pictures of bigfoot...I hope that makes sense lol. They are so rare that no one has got a good look at them.

You did a good job on the remakes. I do notice there is no mana cost on either side.

On werewolves, there don’t seem to be any in Sarpadia. I would say no, but it’s your set and you are lead on it. If you want werewolf cards we can make some.
  • Arg lol
No no, I only mention werewolves because I think one side is Human and the other side is werewolf or something. I just didn't want both sides to be fairy.
  • Also, with one side being Legendary, and one not...I think that makes it a bit neat. You can have multiple butterflies out but only one The Queen.
  • Should I up the mana cost? Or should I leave it at 1G

I think G is fine. It self-limits because it flips when it deals damage to a person.

And it’s also fine to have the sides with different creature types. I was being myopic and picayune with my observation.
  • Fixed :). I would have never seen that, thank you so much.
