  • Ahhh! I must complete this cycle of enchantments I started!
  • Get Crackin!!
  • I had to remake Study of Wisdoms.
I noticed an error in the flavor text and fixed it. Sorry for posting the card twice, but the previous one was not up to snuff.
  • Alright, here is my depressing entry, she persuades warriors from killing her and you by means of sympathy
    FORLORN TELLER OF ALLEGORIES
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/forlorn-teller-of-allegories Enjoy!
  • @MrRansom
I'll postpone the deadline until friday. take your time :)
  • !!!WINNERS!!!

First of all, big thank you to all those who people gathered here! :D
It was so hard to choose 3 winners from 20 entries!

    The winners are

3rd Place. “Performer of Sorrow” by Teacup
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/performer-of-sorrow?list=user#.VRVcl0vY91M
“What kind of melody makes your creatures being so sad to stand up and fight?” She’s a blue wizard that allows you building many tactics. But in multiplayer games, there are so many melodies for her to perform and the effect becomes more unpredictable! And unpredictable event is always fun in multiplayer game :) It has good synergies with tap/untaping effect cards and bounce cards, which are all in blue color pie.

2nd Place. “Poisoning the Wonds” by Corwinnn
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/poisoning-the-wounds?list=user#.VRVjnUvY91N
This is just so thrilling and exciting!XD In multiplayer game, when someone got a permanent way to increase cards in his or her hand, other people start to feel quite dull. In that kind of game, someone would have some trouble with this curse! It also goes well with graveyard mechanic! And cool synergy with proliferate effect is so evil ;D

First Place : Jubilee of Dirges by Mr.Ransom
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/jubilee-of-dirges?list=user#.VRVr00vY91N
The concept tells you why the multiplayer game is fun.
There are many situations that people would want to corporate with other players in multiplayer game. This card gives opportunities for those people by reanimating their hero! Very cool! Congrats Mr.Ransom. I know you were trying to make a cycle of this enchantment, but this one is good enough to win! But I would love to see if you made some other ones :p

Congrats for winners! I truly like all cards you submitted for this, and there are so many other cards I want to tell you how good they are. But those are too many for me to comment on all of them, sorry.

Btw, I’m making a set for multiplayer game called “Politik”.
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Politik#.VRVvM0vY91N
I would like to add some cards you made for this challenge to the set :P(With your credit of course). If you don’t like your cards to be added, let me know.

Thank you again for all participants! It was very fun to come to this page everyday. If you have time, please check out other creator’s awesome works!
  • Thank you for hosting such an awesome challenge @Tomigon!
I'm glad you liked my card and I was more than happy to donate Poisoning the Wounds to the Politik set!!
Congrats to @Teacup and @MrRansom for their wins. To those who didn't win, you all made this 2nd place victory feel good because there were so many entries and they were all so fantastic!

I have completed some of the cycle:
(Black) Jubilee of Dirges [Version 2.0]
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/jubilee-of-dirges-2?list=user#.VRW9wIJdU8o

    (Blue) Study of Wisdoms
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/study-of-wisdoms-5?list=user#.VRW60YJdU8o

    (Green) Gift of Yields
    http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/gift-of-yields-2?list=user#.VRW6z4JdU8o

Thank you so much, Tomigon, for hosting the challenge! Feel free to add any of my cards to your Politik set. It would be an honor to have my design(s) included. If you need any of the arts, just ask and I'll try to find them for you.

Teacup, and Corwinnn, I think your designs are fantastic (You both probably already knew that).
Either one of you could easily have won this challenge.
  • Deleted the Favor of Graces. Feedback I got was that it was lame.
  • Alright:) You don't need to hurry.
  • YAY! I love Multiplayer game too, so winning in this challenge means a lot to me.
Thank you Tomi for hostig this, and thank you all people for making this challenge so exciting. Everyone did a great job!
  • @Tomigon, the white multiplayer enchantment I designed forced a player to give an opponent 2 life. It was deemed boring. So I need to think of something more fun, but still within white's part of the color pie.

Thanks @MrRansom for making a cycle of this enchantment!
You can post draft of that card to here(The link) if you like. It's easier for us to discuss and make the card together.

@Tomigon you're lucky. I have The Real Planeswalker challenge and nobody did it.
  • @nogalbink sometimes these things take time.

Just getting the hand of things today, really love the site!

@Corwinn can you do mine. I asked @MrRansom and @Tomigon but they refused
  • Not so much a refusal as a humble admission that I couldn't justice to your challenge. Think of it like this: you set forth a challenge to Cardsmith community members, and I, as a member, cannot rise to the occasion.
  • @Tomigon I know it's a little late, but I just made this as a part of a Jester/Puppet cycle I've had in my head and was wondering what you thought.

  • @nogalbink - How old are you? I ask because you seem very impatient and not willing to put forth a little effort on your part to make your challenge enticing to other players. I have two kids who sometimes think this way. It's not a reflection on you as much as it's just something young kids do.
I'll explain a little more so it doesn't seem like I'm trying to be mean, but more that I'm trying to help you see it from our point of view.
Your contest is a Planeswalker challenge based on real people. As a contest, it's simple enough, but two things are working against you.
The first thing is that a lot of the Magic card makers prefer not to use real people as a basis for a card. It's not "Magic". It's not a big thing, and some people don't mind, but you should know that it's not going to attract some of the more active people.
The second thing is, you made two examples, which are clearly not planeswalkers. This leads us to believe that you're not having a contest to make cards, but a contest to see how many people will enter your contest. Add on to that the fact that once this was pointed out to you, you couldn't be bothered to make two planeswalkers for examples for your own contest.
This shows us that you don't care. It's clear by your words that you want people to enter the contest, and you care about that. That's something at least, but if you want us to spend time making a card for you, the very least you can do is provide us with some kind of effort on your part. Take some time, make two examples of what you're looking for and I promise you that you'll get some entries... even if they're all from me.
    XD
  • @BlackBloodHydra I commented on your card's page :)
  • @Corwinn, you da real MVP.
  • @MrRansom, Awwww **BLuSH**
  • I'll close this page. I'm doing another challenge btw, I hope you will stop by!
