@borospaladin Your Public Decree is OP. All you need to do is have it target the opponent's basic lands and voila! You've just overloaded their hand and taken out most of their mana base! Mind you that this is with a 2 mana enchantment. And you can run 4 copies of this!
This contest is now closed for judging! Apologies in advance everyone, judging might take a while. I'm so pleased this competition met with the reception that it did, and I want to give every single entry the consideration that it's due. To add to that, I've got quite a lot of work coming up right now. All in all, it might take some time before this is properly judged. Sorry about that!
Alright! Every entry gets a favourite from me for being awesome. However, I've also picked a top three. This was really, really hard, everyone. I say this every time, I know, but this time it was honestly one of the most difficult decisions I have had to perform.
I told myself I wouldn't allow two cards of the same guild to get a place, just for a little bit of variation. For the Dimir it was between this and No Witnesses, both awesome cards. As it is, the raw usefulness of this thing won the day.
The flavour tie to the original birds of paradise is just really cool. What's cooler is that it needs a little bit of thinking to unleash its full potential (I can turn my opponent's land into a creature, but then I need to be able to destroy it.)
Wow. I love this one mostly because of the Orzhov flavour, which is just so spot on perfect that it makes me badly want this card to be real. The whole thing comes together so very nicely that I can't help but give it first place.
@sanjaya666 pftpft that's a lie, you have awesome cards.
Thanks for the contest @Undead! Congratulations to the other winners as well! Undead can you just fave any of my most recent cards whatever I'm allowed for 3rd place, thanks!
Hehe, thanks for the challenge @Undead. Im a tad late sayin it, but thanks mate. I enjoyed this eminently. Got me outta my comfort zone with card types and functionality...
