  Demanding favorites in exchange for set symbols seems backwards. I think favourites should be used as a sign of gratitude, if anything. Empty favorites won't make you any better of a smith, that takes time, practice, and solid cardsmithing in general. Plus, this could crack the favorites feature in half, an issue which has been somewhat controversial in the past.
