So I just figured out this uses html code to it's full extent, so that means I might be doing this a little more complexely so long as it's on the computer such as doing links in this fashion: Cave Catastrophist
(you know those first strikers kind of make this a little to one sided, for story purposess certain power adjustments have been made, though the outcome is still the same)
The halls of Akramar were silent, the people who used to occupy the masterpiece of architecture had already rotted away, now it had one master, Tsaro. He'd planeswalked into this world by accident, and now decided to attempt to make it his personal domain for building a army. He started his campaign by poisoning the occupants of the palace and claiming leadership over the kingdom. Already in the area was a easily won over particularly nasty Ectomancer, and he had also brought a Cave Catastrophist with him to keep the locals under control.
However in response to his attack upon the small kingdom, a local hero by the name of Jack responded immediately. Riding hard and fast Jack made for a early attack upon Tsaro. Meanwhile the Ectomancer, being local knew Jack would be coming and got ready.
Soon behind the hard riding Jack, was a Planeswalker by the name of Oran, who'd heard of Tsaro's doings and came to put his plans to an end. Rallying Jack, the errant warrior went for another attack, yet again getting clear through. Jack's constant bellowing of challenges woke up a rather annoyed Cave Catastrophist, which hissed with it's multiple heads warningly. However The Ectomancer had also been busy bringing about the spirits of the dead, still not risking her own existence.
Oran once again rallies Jack into attacking, who continues to rampage cutting swaths through Tsaro's minions, and at this time a Valiant Charger from a nearby province arrives to help with the purging. Tsaro finally arrives himself, and bringing forth a nasty black sludge which is clearly animated. The Ectomancer summons forth another spirit while her first one attacks Oran from the skies, untouchable by any of his allies. In it's dark hollow, the Cave Catastrophist watches and waits for a victim.
Oran holds back the Valiant Charger, as he feels a gripping chill around his chest, knowing that the Cave Catastrophist would take it out the instant it tries to attack, but Jack goes for another attack. However before able to get to the Rot Lich, he finds himself intercepted by a spirit. Tsaro, seeing that the Cave Catastrophist was of no use to him this time around, he casted a spell that would make both him and Oran have to loose a companion. The Cave Catastrophist died on the instant, the backlash stung. The Valiant Charger sacrificed himself so that the much more effective Jack could keep fighting, and even as his last breath escaped, his spirit was ripped away to join the Ectomancer's swelling ranks.
Oran, taken aback by Tsaro's tactics, called for a couple of fighters to come to his aid. Jack continued in his attacks, only to be blocked by the Valiant Charger's spirit which he smote with furry. Tsaro recalled the dead Hydra, before bringing it back to life with more power backing it. The Ectomancer's spirits once again assaulted Oran whike she continued her summoning. In a blinding light, purging all the summoned bings, and sending the soldiers flying, a angel, often considered the Hand of Justice appeared .
Oran cheered as the angel swooped down, and raising his sword struck the undead, clear through, critically wounding him. Tsaro, figuring it was time to flee left the scene quickly via planeswalking off, leaving the Cave Catastrophist and the Ectomancer. The Cave Catastrophist took some time to dig out of its burrow, but was finally slain. The Ectomancer on the otherhand was nowhere to be found after that. Akramar was finally secured, and the closest relatives of the late owners became the new owners, and rulers of the kindom.
If two planeswalkers pop up than I'll use them and scoot her aside (also I've looked into it and so far I don't think angels can have a spark due to their nature). If she is used than I'll be splitting her +1 into the two different aspects with the turning creature being the standard 0 and knocking off the lifelink part.
@Paul-u if you're talking about having two planeswalkers vs one, no. Any excess planeswalkers will transfer to the next round so if you post one now anyways it'll just end up one of the duelers in the next round
Anyways the two duelers this round are Midori and Arko, also once each side has two creatures on it I'll open up for instances, sorceries, enchantments and artifacts.
So slight problem, without creature allies it's either a completely one-sided dealio due to one not being able to affect the other, or tied because they'd be put in a locked cycle. Life's made it so I couldn't get on earlier, but one or two creatures on either side would be helpful, something black or bue that could take advantage of Midori's shadows or help them, or gain from proliferate or something red with fiahpowah to help Arko. None the less cards not exactly aligned with either of the two planeswalkers are completely fine, just makes for a more complex plot.
Fire whisked about around a monk who sat waiting for someone to arrive. He didn't have to wait long for Arko hustled over to the human after dismounting from his riding wolf. "Let our business here be swift, I may not like you but I respect your use of magic and the shadows here get more dense by the hour." What the monk said was true, even though it was midday and the sky was cloud free, a gathering darkness loomed over the area."
"Yes, quite understandable, Goblins don't have very good reputation everywhere, and I to wish this to be a swift process," the goblin replied looking up at the man. Heading towards their target's location, the Monk made for a quick initial attack, which caught everyone else flat-footed. However, quick to respond, a bizarre and rather disturbing looking cat appeared.
Before anybody else could do anything, Vrenkro a parner of Arko came charging past, hacking and slashing at anything in his path. Unopposed he went hacking through the shadows, that was until Arko sent a blast of fire into his backside, turning him into a crisp looking corpse. The monk looked at the Goblin planeswalker who replied, "he'll be fine, gets him fired up."
At last their main nemesis came to meet them, "begone, you are not welcome here fire wielder and pests." as Midori spoke a shadowy form developed by her side. In front of her the cat-thing glared at the intruders, watching them carefully.
"Pests!?" the goblin mage asked infuriated, than proceeding to blow up the shadow thing with his own magic. The monk, seeing no good opportunity waited it out for the time being. Vrenkro, rather ticked off at Arko for blasting him, but otherwise occupied, charged at Midori, only to be blocked by the cat, which he killed for good. Midori, with nothing else to do brought forth another shadow, while a winged vampire dropped from the sky, looming there ready to join the fight.
Once again Arko blasted away the shadow, and Vrenkro sreamed as he continued rushing towards Midori, only to be cut down by the vampire who was completely unaffected by his attack. The gobin prectically sprung up again as a cloud of dust seemed to spring up as a Druagas Cavalier came charging through, making a pass at the pale Planeswalker. Frustrated, but without anything else she could do, Midori called forth another shadow. A came sticking out of the cavalier's backside as a nimble assassin mercenary hired by Minori killed the human. Like a dark avenger the vampire came down from the skies, striking Arko from above.
As if by reflex, Arko burned the new shadow while Vrenkro attacked again, this time cutting down the assassin who was in his way. Midori, realizing that the fight was quickly becoming futile started retreating as she made another shadowy form appear. The vampire, turned back to the defense seeing that there would be little way out of the situation, but unwaveringly loyal to Midori due to binding magic. A scuttling bug like thing came out to see what all the mayhem was finally.
Arkos nearly blasted away the next shadow, but instead turned to the parasite, and scorched it to a crisp. Ever determined, Vrenkro attacked again fearless in the knowledge that he would never stay dead. This time the vampire intercepted him again, but in his resolve, the goblin chopped away until the vampire's body couldn't take the abuse. Midori called forth a second shadow but already knew that she was done for.
This time the monk joined in on the assault as Arko killed one of the shadows, and the other delayed Vrenkro. However when he struck out at Midori, she vanished as she planeswalked out of there to recoup and recover.
After that the monk thanked the two goblins, who set off for their next destination, while he worked on purging away the remaining shadows within the area so that the fire temple would gain power and influence amongst the locals.

The way I see, Oran and Tsaro just aren't matched properly. The lich is just stronger.
So I made a card with way too much value.
If Tsaro doesn't get some help soon, he might just get trampled his first move.
Guess that means Relentless Paladin won't be showing his face in these parts, of to make someone for Tsaro now.
