First actual attempt at a magic card. Didn't mind the card, hated the art. Not poorly made or anything, just really doesn't look like a Magic card.

Months. And I don't think you need to overly worry about that, mtgcardsmith doesn't seem to work that way anymore. You should be safe, even if they do another 'purge'.
