Knights Errant
Hello and welcome to my 7th contest.
It is the Medieval era. Countries vie for favor with the Pope and seek to gain an advantage over their neighbors. Knights of many colors abound.
Goal:
You are a lord of mighty England. You must create the best Knights to protect your domain. The best 5 knights will be given the honor of serving directly under his lordship King Richard the Lion Hearted, who will reward their lord richly.
Rules:
Cards must be Knight creatures. It is preferable that they be human, though they may be any species you wish.
If possible, make at least four different rarities.
All colors of the pie will be accepted.
Limit of 10 entries.
Prizes:
1st place will receive a follow, as well as 5 favorites.
2nd place will receive a follow and 4 favorites.
3rd place will get 4 favorites.
4th place will receive 3 favorites.
5th place will receive 2 favorites.
May the best knight triumph.

As rarity increases, your go further into the history of Elmonvere.

New knight:
Some are a little less obviously knights than others, but I decided to go for knights as a type of character inclination (someone who fights to protect others), and besides, even knights have days when they're not in armor! hahahaha
So I brought my Knight Imperium:
He's the head knight. All of the knight squadrons report to him and he has the greatest authority. Which is why he's a great choice as a commander for a Knight-themed edh deck!
I also brought three of the squadrons with me (there's ten, each combination of two colors.) These squadrons are some of my more...unconventional ones, so sorry if they don't fit the goal of the contest completely, but I hope people can find a cool knight or two! Each squadron's Commander is here (the mythic) as well as a Grand Knight (rare) and a Chrome Knight (uncommon).
First up: The Dusk Sparrows; a group infamous for some destructive methods and a wanton ferocity that cannot be stopped. But beware, because the Sparrows also hold the record for greatest number of cynics amongst my knights! hahahaha
Second: The Azurite Wind; a group of risktakers who are known for testing extreme theories and methods on the field of battle. Their exploration of new methods has brought about some failures, but their successes have proven the merit of their ingenuity.
Finally: The Astral Owls; their kinda hippies. Many times, their members can be found "communing with nature", pretending to be birds (this happens way too often), or sleeping (they prefer the term "hibernating"). But at the end of the day, their connection and devotion to nature makes them some of the greatest knights someone could ask for. They're dedicated to protecting everything they see around them (although some of them are okay with nature's own proclivity towards destructive restructuring), and they're a lot of kind souls.
I hope you guys enjoyed the knights I brought along! Happy smithing! Cheers!
