Alonia, Plane of the Old Kingdoms - Custom Set
Hey guys, I have been working on a multicolor set in my spare time and I would like to have your opinion on what I have so far.
Factions in the set are 4 colored, and are divided in two 2 colored factions that share a mechanic.

-Toll is a great redo of the tribute mechanic. I really like the idea of a treasure-based tax rather than a creature power one, since treasure are (in my opinion) more versatile than +1/+1 counters.
-I'd reword Toll to use a consistent wording. I'd word it "Target opponent may pay toll N. (That opponent may have you create N treasure tokens.)" This unifies the mechanic as an action your opponent must go through. The main cards that I see so far that could use this rewording are Gate's Guardians, Imperial Security, Champion of Muglar, and Imperatio Chained Guardian. For the creatures, you can just have it say "When this creature enters the battlefield, target opponent may pay toll N." and for the spell, I'd word it. "Target opponent may pay toll 1. If they do, draw a card. If they don't, draw two cards."
-Congregate is a great little mechnic that seems to be pushing a Shaman tribe. Great for conveying the idea of a cult (though those tend to dip more into Clerics) or spellcasting/witch's group.
-This set seems a bit to similar to Throne of Eldraine to me asthetically. What's the main distinction between Alonia and Eldraine?
-I'm having a bit of trouble seeing each faction's identity so far, but the set is only 15 cards in, so there's probably still a good deal of work left to do.
I also changed congregate's wording slightly to make it work like explore ( "Target creature congregates X" is better then "choose target creature, then congregate X")
The set feels similiar to Eldraine since it all started with the bridge troll faction, and from there I had the idea of the rival factions with the same mechanic, so am guessing it will look very similar, may a little bit less fableish.
