Echoes of Tommia - Card Submission Page
Welcome to the Echoes of Tommia card submission page. This is where you can share your creations to support my collaborative set! As of 11/21/15, this set only had 12 cards. Before the first expansion is over, I need at least 150 cards! In order to do this, I need your help!
Rules:
- Try to avoid using your own mechanics unless they aren't faction specific.
- Try not to use too many non-evergreen keywords and abilities. Use them as you wish, but I don't want a repeat of last time where I had 50 something mechanics!
- Your card does not have to be faction specific, but avoid faction-specific mechanics if this is the case.
- Your card needs to be balanced for its rarity.
- Don't just make rares and mythics. I had too many of those last time.
- You don't have to consider possible interference with cards from outside this set. For instance, don't fret that an MTG card and one of your cards might create an infinite loop.
- There is no limit as to how many cards you can make.
- Avoid making cards with real people or fictional characters for my set. Last thing I need is Tommia to be taken over by an army of John Cenas.
- Cards must at least be serious enough to be in a real MTG set. Don't think they'd approve a LOLCat, or a card that would allow you to destroy target player, but jokes and such are allowed.
- Do not make proxies for my set. Originality, folks!
- Only submit cards you own. No anonymous entries, either!
- Plx use propor grammor n sintax.
- Don't worry. I can fix mistakes.
- By putting cards on this page you agree to allow me to remake those cards, at my sole discretion, for my set. You also give me the right to make any changes to the card that I feel necessary.
- Do not ask for the set password.
- See below for the factions and their mechanics.

Yunomare:
Playstyle: Enchantment creatures and enchantments.
Colors: White/Black
Preexisting Mechanics: Bestow, Constellation, Enchantment Creatures
New: Imagination -- If you control an enchantment creature, [insert ability]
DO NOT USE IMAGINATION ON ENCHANTMENT CREATURES
Shiryozen:
Colors: Blue/Green
Playstyle: Aggro control with some mana-ramp; protect your creatures!
Preexisting Mechanics: Megamorph, Manifest, Protection
New: Spellveil (While this creature is face down, if a spell an opponent controls would target it, you may turn it face up.)
Zankuno:
Playstyle: Control and permission; cut off supply and keep creatures off the board.
Colors: Blue/Black
Preexisting Mechanics: Buyback, Flashback, Fateseal
"New" (Returning from the Earthrealm Set): Cyclemill # (At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, that player puts the top # cards of their library into their graveyard.)
Tetsuken:
Playstyle: Control the battlefield with creatures and an Iron Fist; uses more legendary creatures.
Colors: Black/Red
Preexisting Mechanics: Battle Cry, Menace
"New" (Returning from the Hyperbase set): Notoriety (Whenever this creature attacks, if it wasn't notorious, it becomes notorious at the end of combat.)
Explanation:
The creature with notorious has an ability when it becomes notorious. Some cards interact with notoriety, and sometimes, creatures may have the ability to remove their notorious status. This appears mainly on legendary creatures.
Yosuka:
Playstyle: Keep opponents on their toes; lots of hard-to-deal-with creatures, direct damage, tokens.
Preexisting Mechanics: Rebound, Populate, Dash
New: Thunderstruck -- (When this creature enters the battlefield [in the case of a creature.]) If you dealt damage with an instant or sorcery this turn, you may copy that spell. Spells with Thunderstruck cannot be copied this way.
Have fun making cards, and remember: cards don't have to be for a faction.

I know the name and art probably won't work and I don't know if it should be mythic, but you could maybe use the rest of the card.

This is a pretty wacky card, but it makes good use of Shiryozen's Spellveil.
Also, in regards to the wording, that should read "when it becomes the target of" not "if it would become a target of". I've noticed an overuse of "if __ would" in rules texts lately, where it should read "when __ does" instead. "If" is used for intervening trigger clauses and replacement effects, and to my knowledge is not used for anything else.

This mechanic is used for non-creature cards, namely instants and sorceries.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while! Also, please sort of get used to it, because for the next month I will be focusing on my YouTube. Don't worry though! If I somehow manage to have unused time in-between school, homework, my parent's schedule and my personal schedule, I'll pay a visit every now and then!

A simple card. Good to fill up some common spots.
Here's the artwork, if you decide to use it: http://sf.co.ua/15/05/wallpaper-1ba939.jpg
Oops! My mistake! The Yosuka use Red/Blue!
For the Yosuka (it is a mythic though):

Tetsuken: Phantasm Cerberus (uses dash)
Ya, you don't have any colors listed for them so I wasn't sure.
One nickname I came up with one day is JBYT_LoadedTommy, which I shorten to TheLoadedTommy, or Tommy LT.
The original set took place on the Hyperbase, the sole destination in the plane. However, I eventually discovered while planning the reboot of the set that the plane, though called the Hyperbase Plane, had no true name! That's when the name Tommia, based on Tommy LT, came in.
