@theran_baggins - Last day to make cards is the 19th... at some point on the 19th or possibly 20th... I will begin judging, and that's when entries will end.
I modified @KickAsh's Splendid mechanic. Mainly because the creature getting smaller is difficult to interpret into cards for flavor reason. Modified version doesn't make your creature smaller. I also narrowed the trigger condition because being triggered every time you draw is too good. The mechanic feels less Simic and can be used on mono red cards too.
Splendid (Whenever you draw your second card each turn, you may put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.)
Sorry for the delay. I had some things come up that have divided my time and my next 3 days might go long. If I don't finish tonight, I'll get the results for sure on Friday.
After today, I realize this will most likely be Friday. If you all hadn't made such really good cards it might have gone quicker! XD I really blame @Tomigon for choosing this batch of Mechanics! XD
ugh, mechanix contests always go by too fast. I was going to drop some more entries, but it's already over with for entries. well, good luck to everyone, there was amazing entries to be sure!!
Thank you all for your patience! Here are the final results!
The top cards for each Mechanic. Each of these cards had to defeat very good cards to earn this top position. Over 130 cards were eliminated just to get to this point!
Congratulations to all the Cardsmiths who produced the top cards for their mechanic... now lets get to moment you've all been waiting for... The Top Three!!
Jump-scare was not an easy mechanic to make into a card, but this card made it seem effortless while still coming across as a real card. Great job @Termite1
I admit, this one was one of my favorites before I even knew it was for this challenge! I like the changes made to the mechanic, and I felt the changes actually made the mechanic more balanced. @Tomigon, this is a wonderful card!
I am not a fan of Mechanics that rely on damage to function, but I really like the feel of this. A lot of players forget that you can cast creature spells after combat and I like that this card not only promotes that, but it fits into ALL of my red decks!

Does that help?
