Do we have any artists out there, that are interested in a special challenge? (Closed)
Hello fellow cardsmiths, myself wanna make a challenge in part for all the artists here on the forums. Comment whether or not you're interested in the following proposition!
Challenge Idea: Creative smiths will make card(s) featuring their own ink artwork, for a chance at prizes. Standard pen and paper artwork is encouraged for those without an artists' pen. In addition, you can make your art on a computer or tablet, if you aren't feeling like pen and paper currently.
Is this something at least 5 cardsmiths would be interested in? Please comment below.
Thank you for reading and happy smithing!

Thank you for the support!
If you know of someone else who might be interested, please mention this thread to them. So we can gather our friendly neighborhood artists together.
Would you be interested in trying it out?
Methods to draw with ink easier:
1) Draw in pencil, then retrace over the writing in ink.
2) Use a computer or tablet, to be able to erase at any point.
I don't know, I did a bunch of art last month and currently I feel a little burnt out.
Ink isn't a common tool in Japan. I've never had it. Is it like water color?
Fair enough.
Ink can just be a pen. It doesn’t have to be bottle and brush.
Anyways, have a good time smithing!
I have done a bunch of sketchbook stuff on mtg, especially redrawing Alpha cards like they were on Kaladesh or just giving Legendaries from Legends makeovers. Thanks for the ping @Tomigon Sumi Ink is a very popular way to use wet media with ink and is available in most art stores.
I'm gonna try, my artistic skills come and go, ya know? sometimes I'm really good... other times I'm totally and completely terrible... but I'll give it a try
I'm good with either
Sounds like a plan! Until the end of the year is fine.
so I just make some artwork, and use it for a card, and post it here?
It's in a separate thread myself am posting. This one was a Q&A basically.
ok cool
