@Ranshi Being prolific isn't always an advantage. It's preferable to allow old cards because newer smiths get a chance to see designs they otherwise might not have.
@Fantastickill7 I like contest that restrict old cards (like my most recent nonbasic land challenge), but prohibiting them altogether is almost always a negative thing. The restriction forces some new design work to get the maximum number of entries.
It is what you do to send a discussion back to the top of the front page. I mostly did it so I could put my cards in the comment easier. My cards are there now.
Pretty much, Eldrazis do not have enough support as a tribe. Nothing provides Tribal synergy, and all of the Eldrazis are colorless and are thus very poor as commanders. Kallt fixes that by allowing Eldrazi to be powered out quickly while also having access to the Green slice of the color pie. While you can play any of the Ulamogs on turn 4 on a nut draw, you can easily be blown out by removal and have to waste a whole turn.
The sacrifice synergy is to also provide some more viability to Annihilator and give Green some more lategame draws.
@Ranshi I will be giving each card 1-30 points so I will be looking at a card, giving it 1-15 points on balance, and giving it 1-15 points on creativity. the card that has the most points in total will be the champion, the card with the most point on creativity will win that prize, same for balance.
does that answer your question?
I will post the scores of all the cards when I announce the winners.
@Ranshi each month is a round, at the end of the year I will choose the ultimate champion.
multiple entries, because this way judging will be more fun for me XD and people have a higher chance of winning a prize...
I will compare the cards with real MTG card. so if for example your card was an exact copy of a real MTG card I would give it low creativity points. if it is unique or mostly unique then I will give it higher creativity points. or if the card takes multiple ideas that have already been used in MTG but not very much, I will also consider that "creative"

The frame for S, Caller of the Eve is the wrong color, it should be gold not white blue.
Unfortunately, I don't have premium, so I can't edit. I might remake the card though.
I feel you, happens to me all the time
Zona, The Ace
Ranshi, Heretic General
Because even when I am made as a white card, I still need that unholiness of Demons!

Normally I would do that (like in my Swords and Shields contest) but this time I just didn't really feel like it
Making no restriction at all is always the second best option. I think your choice was fine.
Cool
Themed around my misunderstanding of why Theros is popular.
Very, Very tree-ish
This will be very high because there's so many opponents.

Yes, like that
Judging begins in 5 days.
How is this being judged?
Are there eliminations or just cumulative points over the rounds?
