Old forgotten Magic characters

Many of us have read some of the old MTG books. Many of the characters that we love or wanted to see cards for never got printed, either due to the character being massively op or there just wasn't enough room in the upper mana ranges in the colors.
Post here for your versions of Rebbec, Jodah, Xantcha, Lupul, ettc.
Judging will be mostly based on flavor, and yes, if you make Urza. TRY, please TRY not to make him too powerful.
