My friend plays a really OP zombie deck with a lot of graveyard interaction & sacrifice. He was winning, with about ten zombies on the battlefield, with death baron and two lords of the accursed on the field. So his smallest creature was like a 5/5 with deathtouch. I destroyed one, so he got angry and attacked me with everything he had. He got me down to 1 life, but that was my plan. I had a few creatures, but I was playing +1+1 counters, so I just buffed up all of them and killed him.
My favorite deck to play right now is one I call “dreamshaper’s devotion”. It uses library to battlefield effects like Dreamshaper shaman (hence the name), vannifar, vivien’s arkbow, enigmatic incarnation etc. combined with high devotion based creatures to get incredible devotion. Combine this with plenty of etbs, escape creatures, and basically the board is forever changing. The one thing that doesn’t change is the gods. It runs all of them except athreos and Heliod (it doesn’t run white).
Anyways, in a recent game I managed to get out all of the gods with enough devotion to keep them as creatures. I was playing against a bg food deck (witch’s oven)
Opponent had multiple revenge of ravens out so I couldn’t attack, they couldn’t attack because they would have to make it past 5 indestructible creatures
Long story short, they had multiple moldervines so I milled them out by continually killing their creatures in the standstill
I have one too. Around late December 2018 early January 2019 I was playing against my older brother. He was playing a zombie token deck that ran Soulless One. His Soulless One had a P/T of over 100 (I think it was like 107 or 108). He forgets to attack. I draw Phyrexian Ingester then cast it and an overloaded Cyclonic Rift. Best moment of my life.
@RandomFandom Please don't dredge up threads that are months old (since they're probably no longer in use and vaguely need closing or whatever, not to be bought back to the front to take up space and push out more relevant posts) and especially don't do it just to promote something kinda unrelated that people may well have seen anyway.
So basically, my friend and his dad got Duel Decks: Elves vs. Inventors to play together. They had both agreed that no matter what happened, whoever was playing Elves would win. I kept forgetting to bring my deck when we went over, so I kept playing against Elves using Inventors. I never won, and eventually I put a sticky note on my desk to remind me about my deck.
He was bragging the whole time, “I’m way better at Magic” or “You say that like you think you’re going to win.” I beat him in 5 turns because of a Mother of Runes and his lack of a multicolor deck.
Next time we came over, I beat him with Inventors. Sorry this whole thing was just to brag but I feel pretty proud of myself.
Well, my story is different, cause I had my friend at 1 life and myself at 10. I decided to play with him(Because I'm a friggin jerk) and he then drew a Comet Storm and burned me alive. And then there was that game it was 17 to 1 and I happened to draw Sarkhan's Catharsis

It was like a 30 minute long game
I played Memoir 44 a couple of times. Fun game!
