Here is how it should be worded (imo)
Settle (When this creature enters the battlefield, put a settlement counter on target land you control, it becomes a settlement. Whenever a source would deal 3 or more damage to you, sacrifice a settlement and prevent that damage instead.)
Sorry that this is taking so long to judge, it's just that all of these cards are sooooooo great. May take me another day or two.
