@Siege728 Velerax is already overpowered as a planeswalker and at minimum should cost CMC 6. There is no way Wizards would print him and is in all practicality monoblack - red has no appearance in this card whatsoever - creature destruction is black and mass board wipe is still creature destruction, "Destroy all creatures you don't control." Also, self-infliction and life gain is still black and very narrowly red for the first.
Do you think that they will ever print a card sort of like Varden? I think the way he changes a game is interesting, but does it change the game to much?

Technically, no. All the rules said were "1) Create a Planeswalker that can be play on turn 1 or 2. " This could be played then. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
