  • Are you sure?
  • Hey @The-DM, how long till we dock?
  • I'm gonna resist! This is too much to pass up on!
  • Litore orders men to tell the other captains that they are free to dock, while they deal with this scumbat (actual words)

    -------------------
    Does this answer your question?

  • Yes, it surely does.

+1 VP, then. You are close to losing a sanity point, @Bowler218
    ---------------------
You flick out your flintlock and fire... And you kill one coast guard. One tries to grab you, but misses. Another unsheathes their sword and attacks, and barely misses. Unfortunately(?), another attacks you from behind, and somehow binds your wrists.
  • Jasca jumps out of her ship, before even being told. One of the dockboys stares, and she gives him a sly grin. She then calls over a friend of hers to go talk to the coast guards who have @Bowler218.

  • Dangit! Elaine did such a good job!
"Let go of me! Do you know who I am? I'm Jakob, captain of the ship High Flyer! Do you know this is what I do?!?!"

    Litore looks sternly at him.
"Yes, and I am Litore, son of Talihan of this city. You are under arrest for violation of the peace. Mage."

The younger person with the scroll unravels it, and put's it over his mouth. He mutters few words in an unknown language, and the scroll suddenly snaps across his mount. You find that you are unable to speak.

"Arrest the crew," Litore says, and walks back to the checkpoint. "Put the ship into impound."

    @Bowler218

  • Mind if I make a move @The-DM?
  • Go ahead.
  • Eli walks up to Litore, and asks him a simple question.
"For what reason is this man being arrested?"
  • Jakob tries to wriggle out of the guard's grasp
  • Eli glares at Jakob.
  • Do I get out of the guard's grasp?
  • The guard, however, is big, and decides to throw him over his shoulder (You know, like what Shrek did to Fiona when they left the castle.)

"This man is being arrested for arson," Litore points at the docks engulfed in flames. "for murder," he points at the dead soldier being carried away, "and for disturbing our peace, which we take very seriously here." Litore looks at Eli. "And why are you here?"
  • "I am here under service of the great elementals, and now will ask you a question. If this man is under arrest for disturbing the peace, then why have you not cared for the diamond I just witnessed one of your mages steal?"Eli asks Litore.
    "Yeah!Why?"Eli's little sister asks.

    "Quite Selia."
  • "What mage? Who? Our mages are sworn to honor. They have taken a certain oath. To break that oath is to lose their connection to the city."
  • Jakob just starts grinning through the binds
  • "Good"
Eli calls over to her captain.
    Shing.
    The mage falls dead.
"Now, here is 100 gallets, which should be more than enough to free this pirate. Also, you can have Selia."Eli grins.
    "Hey!"Selia hits Eli.

"We'll take the gallets, now get on your way. Cause no trouble."

The scroll is unleashed, and flies to another mages hand.
  • "(Insert magical curse word here)"Eli tosses a bag of gold into the air, and the sun reflects perfectly off of it onto Selia.
"Hey! No fair!"Selia growls a strange noise.
  • Litore catches the bag, counts the gallets, and sends you on your way.

  • A blast of flames hits everyone in the vicinity. By the time they wake up, everything is little more than a dream.

"Hello good sir. Any idea how we got here?"Eli asks the man getting up.

  • Sorry, what happened @LordTachanka123 ?

  • A wave of memory loss. Absolutely no one in the city has any idea what happened. Not even Selia.
  • Elaine????
  • Selia occasionally will do this. It's not good for her sanity , but she and her sister play it like a game.
  • Memory loss varies on distance.
  • Litore still wakes up with the money.
