Let's Return to Ravnica again! (Or Innistrad if you want.)
Honestly I rank all of the Ravnica blocks on par with the Innistrad block as being the best blocks ever. But, it's been a few years since we last saw either plane and I imagine things have changed. I want to know what has changed. Hopefully by the time this contest ends we will have our images of both planes renewed. I want you to make cards that depict what is going on in those planes, but could also be used with the cards from previous blocks in those planes.
The multicolor combinations in ravnica, the city of guilds are as follows
Black/green Golgari swarm, self mills and gets benefits from the graveyard
Blue/Black House Dimir, mills other libraries and is generally very underhanded.
White/black Orzhov Syndicate, Steals life from others as payment in business transactions, runs the church.
Black/red cult of rakdos, an unorganized group of hedonists who worship a demon.
Green/red Gruul Clans, A unorganized group of clans that have basically been beaten by the other guilds but are trying their darndest to beat them back.
Green/Blue Simic Combine, Biological engineers who are trying to improve nature with magic, the ocean specifically.
Green/White Selesnya Conclave, concerns themselves mainly with nurturing and life.
White/Blue Azorius Senate, politics and police
White/red Boros Legion, a trained army that often works alongside the azorius
Red/blue Izzet league, the over-excited scientists and civic workers
The multicolor combinations of Innistrad
Do these like you see in the old horror movies.
And Frankenstein's monster-like things are on the plane.
Blue/black the zombies, mad scientists, and some ghosts,
Red/green the werewolves,
Black/white the rest of the ghosts,
black/red the vampires,
Black demons,
White Angels
Everything but black = scared humans
It would also be nice if you made new mechanics.
If you are making a double faced card, put a link to the other side in the comments.
You can have up to 3 entries.

The different planes will be judged desperately, so please say which one your entries are for.

Anyway, in Return To Return To Ravnica, the Simic's creativity has somewhat outrun them. Under the Guildpact, their leaders must be elected by popular vote- and under the new laws, their creations . As such, much of the leadership of the Simic, and much of the rank and file, have been ousted. In particular, Zegana, the previous guildmaster has been replaced by a krasis calling itself Aleakh.
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/aleakh-the-hundredfold-child
Created in the aftermath of the Kraj incident, in which all Simic grafts were forcibly removed from their owners and amalgamated into the Kraj, Aleakh is a self-described 'militant evolutionist', a soldier of the future who seeks to enact change at any cost.
Among its allies in this fight is the dryad known as Ani. One of the decrees of the Guildpact is that no guild may be led by more than one guildmaster and one champion, and of the three heads of Trostani, Ani was chosen and forcibly removed. She was understandably furious, and even beyond that, saw the actions of the collective as heresy to the Selesnya creed of 'unity at all costs'. Ani and those who agreed with her split from the main body of the collective, forming an secretive cult among the guildless, promising them membership in her vision of the new Selesnya. Although Aleakh doesn't understand Ani's motivation as such, it understands very well that, if Ani wins, it will have a powerful new ally. Even if she fails, she will at least shake the Selesnya to their core. And nothing creates opportunities like war.

The forces of law (though not necessarily order) have not turned a blind eye to the growing unrest in Ravnica, especially among the guildless. (Ani is powerful, but not as subtle as she thinks she is.) The Nova Weavers are their newest batallion: enough skill at arms to triumph over any Guilded foe, and no matter the size, no guildless force could hope for greater than a Pyrrhic victory.

Also, it's worth noting that the next set (after the Zendikar one wraps up) is set in Innistrad.

All for Ravnica
This card was inspired by combining one of my favorite RTR-block cards, Hypersonic Dragon, with one of my favorite Origins cards, Jace's Sanctum. I recently made a Mizzix of the Izmagnus deck, which is definitely outside of my typical playstyle and have been having an absolute blast. I felt this card has some fun Izzet-flavor (despite being less chaotic in nature):

and flip,

By the by, if it needs to be either red or green to be a werewolf I can revise it to reflect that. I just would like to see werewolves in every color
