Me one year ago when Core 2020 started being previewed: I sense blue-white will have a Scrying Archetype.
Core 2020: Nope.
Me 10 months ago when Eldraine started being previewed: OK Now there is going to be a Scry Archetype.
Eldraine: Nothing.
Me when Theros was being previewed: This seems like a good set to have tons of scrying. Please?
Theros: No.

Okay *sniff* After that brief introduction, I will have the instructions:
-Make cards that either scry, or potentially care about scrying, or both
-Up to 5 cards per person
-Due date is August 30
-NO OLD CARDS!!!
Prizes:
1st place- 10 liked cards
2nd place- 8 liked cards
3rd place- 6 liked cards
In addition, the top three will get a mention in the Hall of Fame.

Other, less generic question. You say in the rules "Make cards that not only scry..." does this mean that the cards have to scry, or can we make them interact with it without causing it themselves?
Nonetheless, old cards are restricted. As to your other question, they do not have to scry.
I have updated the rules.
I miss scrying too @dragonbornletter. More scrying and surveilling cards plz Wizards....
