Let's Break the Color Pie!
Because why not? We are on the custom card making site!
BUT, there must be a reason for breaking the color pie in your card. So Art/Flavor is important. If I see your card and say "Oh, this is why you had to break the color pie!", you are doing it right.
Example : http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/lavaborn-merfolk-3
-----------------------
Deadline is January 11th (If I could get enough entries to judge..)
Top 3 winning cards will get a -TROPHY-
Let's make some cards!

How it breaks the Color Pie: Green is dealing direct damage.
Why it's doing that: it's a fire breathing Elf.
Why it's not game breaking: it requires you to pay 1G to deal 1 damage. Also, you may tap other Elves to untap it, but it still doesn't skip the mana cost, so there's little room for abuse.

My heart...
No one can stop my anarchism now. No one .. (Samurai flavored music)
Don't worry. I actually don't like breaking the color pie. But curiosity overcame my fear this time!

It begins normal enough...
Spell Block- http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/spell-block-2?list=user
Then things get a little sideways...
Devoted Blessing- http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/devoted-blessing?list=user
Dark Denial- http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/dark-denial?list=user
Until the rails fall off...
Incanted Backlash- http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/incanted-backlash?list=user
Nature's Vengeance- http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/natures-vengeance?list=user

Ironically, this is just what I think people don't get, no offense - Incanted Backlash is just a UR card. Nature's Vengeance is UG - There's no particular reason it should be monoR or monoG other than "because I can". Dark Denial is UB, quite heavily so (and actually a cool take on a 2cmc counterspell, btw) - Devoted Blessing basically already exists in Absorb or Overrule

How it breaks the Color Pie: Black dealing damage, rather than causing loss of life. Also, more aggressive than most black Planeswalkers.
Why it's doing that: He is a fire elemental who's mana is almost spent. He has little mana left, but what he has he will use to destroy his enemies, no matter the cost to himself and his allies.
Why it's not game breaking: First off, he starts at 1 loyalty. His abilities, while they will harm the opponent, also harm you as well. This is a very black thing. However, while this is black, the damage aspect is very NOT black.
Thanks for looking!

NOTE: I DID ERROR IN THING. THE COPY EFFECT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SCRAPPED. FORGET THE COPY. WHAT COPY EFFECT?
How it breaks the color pie: Blue dealing damage, destroying creatures, putting white knights onto the battlefield, or giving +1/+1 counters.
Why it's doing that: Part of blue is cloning. This is, in effect, cloning the color of the last spell played and having an effect based off of that color.
Why it's not game breaking: If it was "choose 1" that might be a little OP. However, it's not cuz it's based on the last spell your opponent played.
THX
Something that I made a while ago. Draws cards for white, destroys creatures for blue, destroys artifacts or enchantments for black, bounces for red, and deals damage for green.
WBR Creature that has the black evergreen of deathtouch and checking life total on abilities. Shared red and black inability to block. Gains green evergreen of trample when opponent is at an even lower life.
Compounded with deathtouch it would mean a minimum of 4 blockers have to be put in front of her to mitigate damage assignment.
@Gateways7 in case you didn't realize. You didn't log in when you made that card. It says anonymous.

Here I explore what happens when a phoenix dies in a very woody forest.
Enjoy!
sorry I have no real explanation for you, but this card feels like at least some break of the color pie for me I guess land shenannigans aren't normally blue, but hey, Zendikar proved otherwise sometimes.
Bored decided to make another.
