@AboveAndAbout I think you use hybrid borders when using hybrid mana in the mana cost, and gold borders when you don't. There are probably other differences, but I'm not sure.
Well, mechanically, hybrids are designs that fall into a design space that could reasonably be in either of the two composing colors. If aspects are used that only one of the colors would have access to, it should be made as multicolor.
This one's for @MemoryHead . I've already had numerous times where they have given me advice on picking artwork, balancing, and all of the other odds and ends when it comes to making cards on mtgcs. As the host of this year's iteration, it feels wrong to request a card of me... however it is my duty to let you know that the next person who makes a card based on me... will have a pretty nice position in my folder of that.
