"Sir, it appears we are no longer alone on this island." Kavrith, the leader of the Autumnal scouts, stood before Jael in the throne room. "Our scouts have seen strange technological people and beasts that are also inhabiting this area of this world. They have not come near our borders, but I worry about the threat they pose. We've also received word of webs of alliances and wars being waged on the mainland, and I'm concerned that conflicts may spill over to us." Jael sat in thought for a few moments, and then said, "This has been a concern of mine as well. I do not currently see a threat from the Zarildi, however the other nations on this world may prove to be a bit more aggressive. And sometimes, dangers come from the places you least expect." Jael stood up, and then continued, "I do not wish to seek out war, although with the way things are going we must be ready for it. Tell Commander Helson to increase security on our borders and have our soldiers and war-mages be prepared for combat. But do not attack unless attacked first. I do not wish to instigate unnecessary conflict."
Entry
The Four Seasons Kingdom does not want to instigate war, however we must be prepared should war come to us. We will be bolstering security around our borders, and preparing our army for war. (Entry) (As the artist credit space says, despite my best efforts, I was completely unable to find the artist of this art. However, I wanted to use the art anyways, so hopefully I'm not docked too many points.)
The Kingdom will also be instituting a Frozen Borders policy. Winter mages will be stationed all around our borders with the sea, and any ships that are deemed hostile will be frozen and sunk.

Sorry it took me this long to get my entry in, I've been a bit busy lately.
My entry ----------------------------------------------------- (Lore in like, idk) Quick summary till I get time to write, the Koreli declare war on Samurai(@AxNoodle) and send in Guerilla soldiers. (I'll get my side of the trade soon @DrakeGladis)
@TimurGlint, I beg you to reconsider. We have no quarrel with your people, nor are we villains. We would hate for your faction to be wiped from Nemain.
After many tribulations and application of the new, convoluted combat system, we have determined the new landscape of Nemain. Some interesting things to be seen indeed...
The next challenge will be accompanied with an epic tale, and a new chapter in this most strange history. It is written up and will be posted within 12 hours.
They sneak quietly in the night Shapes that twist Your name is written Upon their list Of lowly critters To be destroyed without fright
Their whispers heard from every corner That one dares not Look into when Your mind is rot And then again Each little soldier is a goner
Congratulations! You activated the plane's defense mechanism!
Creatures sneak out of dark forests, slithering along wherever you may, threatening your citizens with eternal torment. This is the immune system of Nemain, the guardians of its volatile order established millenia ago, at the death of the last civilisation trying to hold on to their order. Its fetid ecosystems are supervised by this shadow army, and you have drawn their displeasure.
So now, you all have a choice. You could...
A. Submit to their requests, and bring your civilisation in with the "regulations" of Nemain. This would mean becoming the active protectors of the plane's natural landscape, and not developing your civilisation in a way that harms Nemain or displeases them.
B. Resist their authority, waging war on Nemain and its nature, to impose your nurture. This would mean not receiving penalties that side A receives, but also having to fight this formidable foe on a weekly basis.
C. Trying to meet them halfway, and enter the politics game of Nemain's unseen government, playing 5D chess with the nature spirits and the volatile fae. This will give you the best of both worlds at first, but can go south very quickly.

@Everybody here's the current alliance list. I've added an At War With section to every faction, even though some factions aren't at war with anyone at this point.
@HeroKP would "Nemain's Immune System" count as a faction that could be put into this chart? I feel like it might help to put it in, at least for people who choose to fight or ally themselves with the NIS.
@HeroKP What are their demands? We do not respect them as an authority, but that does not mean we immediately declare them as foes. If it is miniscule to negligable, then we'll patiently wait them out, cooperating for the first little bit. Otherwise, we'll probably ignore them.
https://mtg.design/i/refp24.jpg(Apologies, best I can do, images aren't working for me as of now) ------------------------------------ "The Nature Guardians beckon us, telling us to cease any destruction of their world. We once did similar things, back in our homelands. We must stand by their side, ready to fight for this world, so that the fate of our Island does not befall this world as well." The shaman was no fool. He knew that war with Nature itself was futile. But the others whom he needed to convince might not think the same way. The Exile, who still held on to his old language was a fan of fire and industry. The Harbinger had recently bought some Mechanical soldiers for the Tribe. The Queen was his last hope. She remembered what had happened, had remembered the cries of her parents, and had vowed to never let it happen again. She would side with him. "We must stay neutral! We cannot anger our potential allies who might wish to fight these creatures!" Hundr signed rapidly. Mason nodded his head in agreement. "No, it is our duty to protect Nature, just as she protected us." The Queen declared. "Tell them of our decision Shaman."
-There was a... mistake! We do NOT fight the natural order of things on Nemain. We rather protect it. - Kabibon said
-Maybe. But if you really say the truth, prove it! - answered a birdlike creature.
-But how?
- Give us your decision on these angels. What do they deserve?
-They should be wiped out or put on the True Way of Nemain.
-That's a thing a true defender of Nemain would say. We believe you now. What are your orders, my Lord?
-So, you can torment people. I think we can use it to create some spies among the angels using that. Some of your people should go and sow paranoia among them and if possible, gain control of some.
Sorry! Had to go offline for a bit for personal reasons.
Their demands are vague by nature and cryptic by design, but they amount to simply ceasing to try and change Nemain, and instead trying to adapt yourselves to it.

The war ravages and only the Zarildi bards keep trace of all the events. Then, they sing it at the court of every emperor on Nemain.
Our armies are marching upon these winged villains!
There will be a Season 8 once this one's over, so you can join that one.
