@Fallen_Lord_Vulganos Ohoho, the most famous mono-white villain just had to be here, right? Also your version is just straightup evil with the new Angel of Destiny.
I had a lot of ideas for this contest. Here are my three favorites. I have a card draw spell, a ramp spell, and a third splashy effect. All feedback is welcome.
Starting from the bottom, in the 3rd place is @TenebrisNemo with Tithe Day. This card is a common, but it looks so neat and clear and you immediately know what's going on. I like simple yet fun cards like this. That is why you win 2 faves!
In the 2nd place we have @shadow123 with Lose Faith. Another pretty clear card, but this one is a bit more "splashy". White deffinitely cares about colors and devotion (and board-wipes) and this cards puts these aspects to good use while still feeling original. You, my friend, get 3 whole favorites!
And the champion, the ultimate winner and master of mono-white is... @AboveAndAbout with New Day's Light! This card is the deffinition of splashy. Sure, it's not ramp or card draw but I feel like that's not exactly what white needs the most. New Day's Light brings a cool twist to the extra turn thing and overall feels surprisingly very white. And it looks super good, which helps as well. All of this wins you 4 faves!
But before we end, I'd like to mention a few other cards, because there was a handful of good ones that didn't get a shot at the podium.Otherscape Outlast by @MemoryHead utilised an interesting mechanic and overall felt very nice. And Guiding Light by @Orzhova was a very intersing take on white "card draw". It's not exactly the same as card draw, which is cool, feels pretty white, and I think this mechanic could deffinitely be interesting to explore in the future.
But with that, this contest comes to an end. Thank you to everyone who participated and congrats to the winners and honorable mentions, who all came very close! Please let me know about the cards you want me to favorite and have a great day.
