Someone has to say it though: Dread Summoner is surprising to see. Even the ETB is a very positive thing (plus potential card/creature advantage.) I thought valid entries should not be broken; even mentioned it in all-caps. You do realize it's only one black mana to cast, right?
There are more than a few entries in the winning list that don't seem to fully qualify nor stand out, so well, I'd say the judging was a little inconsistent.
Good contest, anyway. Lot's of entries and it was fun participating.
@IanLowenthal, That's a lot of work to host such big contest. I don't even know how hard it is! Thanks a bunch for the contest. I enjoyed it a lot!

@Grimshac Honestly, I was running out of stuff that stood out towards the end.
I didn't quite catch that last part. And I completely agree on the "broken" thing, by the way. Dread Summoner was one of the best entries in my opinion and shouldn't be removed by any margin.
But the first card is still "meh" and is by no means useful and I don't see any decks running it, which is why I'm criticising the choice. Please don't think I'm overall disagreeing with your list (I'm not), but some of the choice were just out of place to me.

As far as Dread Summoner, all I can say is that mana-creatures are Green's thing, and there doesn't exist any that are (1) to cast and tap for (2) with no drawback. But these are fantasy cards we create - it's all good.
Oh and please link From the Vault: Zombies here once it is finished. Can't wait to see it!

OH right, we were talking about Dread summoner and not Ghoulcaller Skaab. Right. Yea, dread summoner is extremely broken - Looks like something really, really old that WotC would've made back in Alpha or The Dark. Not to mention the card itself is wrongly formatted.

If you look through my stuff and see 6 things, have at 'er. If not, don't.
I want you to understand that this is not a slap in the face to your prizes, lots of people appreciate the boost to their stock. I only like people to favourite things they would favourite normally.
I also apologise for not submitting original cards for this. Time was an issue as was remembrance. Busy time for me personally. Ha ha.
Love the idea of a cardsmith generated FtV though, so props to that. Hope there are more to follow?
