Update old Legendary Creatures into becoming balanced with the new Legendary Creatures
This is the first contest I've ever done, so it might not be done very well, so sorry if its hard to understand and/or doesn't give enough information.
This is a contest for those who want to make the old legendary creatures, from all sets below "Eighth Edition" into Legendary Creatures that would be used in commander decks nowadays.
Here is an example:

I'll be trying to favorite all entries.
Make sure you post both cards, both the old and the updated.

I plan to enter! In the meantime, here's a list of all the creatures you can choose from! I included 8th edition, not sure if that's allowed or not
Bring on the sand people!
Despite this being a contest for other people, I really enjoy making new cards out of old legendary creatures so here's another one.

Updated Card:
Based on Zirilan of the Claw. I think adding black and sacrificing the creature instead of exiling it would give players more room to build a dragon reanimator like Bladewing the Risen and Scion of the Ur Dragon,

Based on Balthor the Defiled, previously Balthor the Stout in life. The original Balthor the Defiled is mono-black, but clearly wishes it had a black/red identity for commander, so I made it so here. Its original re-animate mechanic was a hit hit and miss for symmetry - it could help everyone at the table, it could help just you. So with my design I wanted to have a symmetrical effect again, everyone gets to reanimate on their turn, but you do it better because your zombie berserkers get buffed (helping them survive the need to attack every turn).
Based on Hakim, Loreweaver. Reading up on Hakim's lore (haha) I had a few ideas of where to go, but I actually ended up kind of sticking to the actual brief for a change - just made the original creature more balanced for modern day Commander.
Expanded to include white, as mono-blue auras felt way too narrow, and destroying enchantments didn't feel blue at all. Hakim's flight comes from the fact he rides an azure drake, but I expanded it to giving any enchanted creature flying. The upkeep ability brings it closer in line to competing with Bruna for an auras commander, but takes you in the direction of going wide instead of a Voltron commander. Then a way to reset which auras are attached to which creatures, and draw some cards.

I realized that there'll probably have to be a judging system, and since I'm not much of one myself, I'm going to leave it to anyone who posted a card.
At the end of the contest, (Some time around the end of march, unless you need more time) each person who posted a card will vote on their favorite one that is not their own. Whichever one got the most votes will win and get first place. (Nothing really comes with it since I don't really have anything to give away.)
There will also be third and second place, as well as three of my personal favorites that were made.
Based on Livonya Silone from Legends. Since landwalk isn't a thing anymore, I changed her second ability into a destruction ability to keep her within red/green.
Old Ramses from legends. Gave it second ability.

I gave Joven more of an artifact thief/destruction theme that stayed in-line with the original. I wasn't sure if homelands were before or after the 8th edition because it's fine if he's invalid I will work on another card.
Edit: I checked he's valid.
Original vs. Improved
The first iteration was supposed to be ominous, based on that funky art. The newly forged version has a much more ominous artwork (By JiHunLee) and an even more ominous flavor text. The new Princess Lucrezia also looks like she's capable of dealing 5 damage with that amazing sword!
Based on Tuknir Deathlock from Legends, although with abilities shuffled a bit to make him fit more into modern Red/Green
Updated Version:

Based on Selenia, Dark Angel from Tempest. Her abilities have been shifted to fit the color pie and be a modern-age commander card.

I updated Taniwha in two significant ways. One, I changed its color identity to allow it to have trample along with protection. And two, I also changed its mana cost to balance it out because a 7/7 with trample and protection that is able to phase permanents for only 5, too op.
Also, that phasing is a drawback. You can't cast spells while this thing is out
