I know you're a pretty reliable source of competence, so how do you think this would go over as a Commander? (Secondary, I mean. The main commander is still being conceived.)
So this ^ is a thing. It started out as a creature, and then in countered spells, and now it's so far away from the original concept it's unrecognizable. It was also rare at first. Not much to say about it really, but I can't tell ifit's really good or really bad.
I need help with a card. My inspiration was "wouldn't it be really flavorful to create a card for the angel tribe that gave angels Miracle?". Well, this is what came out and it's quite wonky and all over the place. I'm open to reworking it completely, as long as it gives Angel cards Miracle. How would you do it? http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/prophecy-of-salvation
This is a card ive revised over and over but still feel like it isn't quite there...it's an important card to my set I'm working as he's meant to be a the face of one of my key tribes, so I'm determined to get him right. It uses Tomigon's peaceful mechanic (This creature can't attack. it deals damage in the form of -1/-0 counters.) Any feedback on how his abilities may or may not be balanced, and his overall flavor, is very much appreciated.
Also I understand why you try to encourage more quality feedback. It's intimidating when you're not an expert on the rules of the game, and so I don't want to say something incorrect or that might lead someone to another mistake. So, praising and favoriting cards I like feels safer to do...
You don't need to be an expert - I am certainly no expert and it works out for me most of the time! When it doesn't, well, then I learn from it. You can both praise and criticise at the same time, and a community like ours is built upon the people that successfully do both.
I get that one might fear to cause further confusion without fixing anything, and I completely agree. There's a time to comment and a time not to, but to be able to gauge when you should and should not, you have to comment :P
I have been chastised countless times around several forums, but every time I make a mistake, my frequency of mistakes diminish as I become better at not making them
So you've already seen http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/the-tesarand-mantra But I've been wondering if mechanically it seems balanced? There are certainly ways to counter it, but the Mantra + extort is a win condition. Note: If you do comment on it to discuss this, please start a new reply tree on the card, or the existing ones will get messy.
"There are certainly ways to counter it, but the Mantra + extort is a win condition."
This isn't exactly true if what you mean is cast the mantra and pay {b/w} to "extort it" because that will happen before the mantra resolves, and then you will both go to one.
Well, that makes it a 3-card combo, doesn't it? Mantra+A permanent on the board with Extort+A third spell to trigger (and you need to pay) for Extort. That's seems pretty acceptable.

Being a modern player, I think you could evaluate this well.
Sorry, I now realize I never got around to talking to you about Kor Kite field - it gives me a 404 when clicked now, did you remake it?
