Ongoing Challenge - Card Mash-up

This is an "ongoing challenge" where you use what is given by the post before you (like the flavor text challenge for those of you that know it).

However, unlike the flavor text challenge, the prompt is three existing MtG cards. The cardsmith's job is to take any two of the cards and create a mash-up of those two cards (whether in flavor or in mechanics or both). Obviously, apply some artistic license to make it fun, and create something unexpected, but try to keep it realistic and balanced.

For example, if my prompt were Norin the Wary, Cataclysm, and Lightning Helix, I could pick the first two and make Norin the Lone Survivor.

In order to create the prompt, I suggest using http://magiccards.info/random.html until you get three interesting cards for combining. Right click the card name on that page to copy the static, non-random URL.

Putrefy
Edge of Autumn
Shallow Grave

Edit: Please use at least 2 real MtG cards (in other words, at most one MtgCardsmith card) in your prompt
