Lets just ban this users. Magic is a game that children play, too. And i assume some children do visit this website. I dont want children to see porn on a normal website. And dont forget the legal aspect. Some of this erotic manga hentai stuff that users use for cards could count as child-pornography in some countries, which would make the whole website completely illegal and everyone visiting this website could be guilty in watching child pornography accidentally, only because on the main page a card with such stuff is shown.
Fair point is MTG is designed for 13 years old or older because some contents contain fear, gore, etc. However, you are right, sexual and porn shouldn't be allowed in this website at all.
That’s a good question. I don’t think I’m one to decide that, but there has to be a limit just because exposing an underaged person too much sexual content or gore can really mess that person up.
@Lurisauri I found two rules in MTG Cardsmith’s Terms of Use that could apply to that card:
Offensive Content: Content that promotes hate, discrimination, harassment, or any form of bigotry is unacceptable.
Religious and Controversial Topics: While creative freedom is encouraged, content that is overtly religious or promotes controversial viewpoints may be restricted to maintain a neutral platform.
TL;DR if the card itself is meant to be offensive, the symbol comes from an offensive/negative background (eg. A Neo-Nazi sign), or contains bias, it should be deleted - otherwise it’s all good
Ok so there is this user: https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Ommega96/cards. His newest aren't problematic but some of his older cards especially from page 5 to 9 seem to be against the guidelines. I'm not sure about the cards from page 2 to 4 since some of them seem to praise russia. The card texts are fine since they're mostly proxies, there are just some cards where is written "You become communist" instead of "You become monarch" but I'm not sure if this is in violation of the guidelines (Cards in question: Treue der Sowjetunion, Waffenpause, Eid für die Sowjetunion, Putins Rede, Spezialmunition UdSSR, T-80-Panzer, Vladimir Putin, Josef Stalin).
Recently published cards section becomes awful. I just want to find interesting cards from new cardsmiths but instead I found this: https://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Demonic_Deku/cards. I don't even want to report so many cards, there's just everyday someone new who crosses the line. All TOS cards are gone, unless they make more. The political cards are usually fine until they cross a line, same with religious cards, chesty cards, historical cards... etc. Swastika set symbols would go, but a swastika in the art is subjective to the card.
