@TenebrisNemo That is a really cool design. I love the flexibility and all the decisions that are baked in on when to have shroud, when to leave mana up, etc. It's definitely odd to have tap abilities on an equipment. I have a feeling this card would force a lot of players to learn that equipment aren't tapped when the creature they're attached to becomes tapped and vice versa.
@Mellow_MC You said you added a lot of text, but, I would actually add some more. I'm assuming that the chosen creature leaving a battlefield could happen any time, not just in the same turn, which usually means you'll need to create a counter or something. I'd consider creating an aura that attaches to the chosen creature, and has "When this leaves the battlefield, exile the top 5 cards of target player's library. You may play artifact cards exiled this way until the end of your next turn." The concept is pretty awesome. I'd consider just running him as the commander, and fill the deck with blink and flicker effects. Very cool card.
The first ability lets you trade your creatures to get double value out of the spells Thada Adel steals. The second ability allows you to attack with Thada Adel to steal something, even if there's no chance of it getting through.
There are other tricks that can be done with Tidal's second ability, such as using instant speed sacrifices to guarantee stealing a card after combat damage has been dealt, even for unblocked creatures. The casualty that Tidal grants to your stolen instants would also count towards this.
Happy June everybody! Here's another commander to design around. Let's see what we can do to break this one. This is actually a commander I ran at one point, though only because it was the only Abzan Legendary Creature I owned at the time, and I wanted to build in those colors. Maybe we can come up with some cool enough concepts to make me want to build him for him next time.
Moving +1/+1 counters with Daghatar results in draining your opponents repeatedly. The third ability allows you to be less conservative when it comes to sending your buffed creatures into combat, or you could play into it with an Aristocrats/Modular/The Ozolith/Mikaeus, the Lunarch build.
I was out of town for basically all of July, so we're throwing in a fun and simple one for a coupe weeks before jumping back in in earnest in August. Here's the July Commander of the Month!
The Thaumaturge rewards you with a card whenever Oros is chump blocked. If you do manage to get through and pay for Oros' combat damage trigger, the Thaumaturge converts every X/1 kill into even more card draw, even those on your side. You can even activate the Thaumaturge to save itself from Oros by making its toughness four or generate additional card advantage by reducing the toughness of any one mana value creature before Oros' trigger resolves.
Well, I made one because inspiration struck. I had just noticed that you can copy your opponents abilities, as well, so I decided to create a way to make sure that was on the table.
The Throne actually kills creatures if theres more than one of them on the board because of the legendary rule. If you have for example 2 Llanowar Elves and both become legendary you must sacrifice one of them
Against Decks that create a lot of the same creature tokens this is a really powerful ability.
Well, here we go, it's officially September and we have a new commander to inspire some creativity. This is actually the only mono-blue commander I've ever built, though I no longer have the deck. Meet Tomorrow, Azami's Familiar:

Thank you @Mello_MC for the great suggestion
