Enchantment Contest #3- Curses
This is the third iteration of Enchantment Contest #1.
The winner of this contest will choose the focus of the next Enchantment Contest. Additionally, that person will host and judge that contest. The winner will receive up to 5 favorites on the cards of their choosing and a follow as applicable. Second and third place will be given up to 3 favorites on cards of their choosing. Honorable mentions will receive a favorite on their submission and the satisfaction of a job well done.
While only appearing twice in Magic's history, Curses offer a unique design space that has yet to be fully explored. The enchantment subtype of Auras debuted in the beloved Innistrad block, and reappeared in Commander 2013. Try to go beyond the mechanics used on the existing Curses and get creative! This doesn't have to be an Innistrad themed contest, so don't feel limited that way.
The only true requirements are that the cards submitted have the card type "Enchantment- Aura Curse" and that the name of the card includes "Curse of...". Other than that, I will judge cards based on balance, flavor, and overall uniqueness of the design. Each participant is LIMITED TO 3 ENTRIES at most, and if you would like to change an entry, just make it clear which one is replaced. I'm sure you all will have some amazing creations, and happy cardsmithing!

This contest will conclude at 11:59pm (EST) on March 16th and winners will be announced on March 18th at the latest.

Here's an old one (don't know if that's allowed): Gifts Ungiven
(Originally created for a mash up contest, had to use an existing card name with another existing cards flavor text. Really like the way it turned out!)
Entry No. 1: Curse of Apathy

2. Curse of Absentmindedness by @DomriKade
1. Gifts Ungiven by @Faiths_Guide
Next, in third place is @MrRansom with Curse of Spores. This is a neat card that I think would play really well in a token/counter based multiplayer deck.
Coming in second place is Curse of Endless Pleas by @ningyouk. I think ningyouk did a great job finding an effect that had just enough impact for a 2 mana curse, and I liked the flavor as well.
Finally, in first place is.......(drumroll please)
Curse of Despair by @Khunjund! This card has a really clean design with abilities that fit the color pie excellently. If Wizards were to have made any of these cards, I would have guessed that they made this one.
Remember that this is an ongoing chain of challenges, so @Khunjund, this is your chance to pick a creative enchantment contest and judge it.
Again, congrats to all winners, and thank you everyone for participating! Please message me up designate which cards you would like to be favorited, otherwise I will pick them myself.
