By my count we are up to 20 unique cardsmiths on this contest. Once there are 30, the first place prize will include a year of the $5/month tier Patreon rewards paid for you.
I haven't seen a submission yet that I don't like but nothing has been decided! There are three more days to make or change your submissions.
For anyone that was wondering, if this contest doesn't reach 30 unique entrants by tomorrow I will be holding another contest soon after that people may find more interesting with the same potential prize.
Ok everyone, I've gone through all of the entries and have the results. Sadly, there weren't enough unique entrants to add the additional prize to first place but all of the normal prizes still apply. Now onto the winners:
3rd Place Inviolata, Angel of Reliance by @Tutlaschk Good art, good flavor, balanced (harder to cast but arguably better than Avacyn). The only reason this didn't place higher is because it is mostly a clone instead of a new take on the idea.
2nd Place Eldrazi Unlife by @DomriKade I like this. It is thematically fitting for Eldrazi and a nice take on the unlife bit. Definitely a winner but what kept this from the top spot was balance. It is very, very easy to regularly exile cards from your graveyard, much easier than removing poison counters put on by Phyrexian Unlife meaning you could feasibly survive a lot longer under normal circumstances.
1st Place Birds of Glory by @Wrclass I can't say I'm a big fan of the art but I definitely like the card. It costs {1} more than a BOP but comes in able to hit for chip damage and once you use it to block or an opponent tries to wipe it, it effectively becomes a BOP that you can revert if you have the right deck. It's a neat take on an old card and that is exactly what I wanted to see come out of this contest.
To the winners, please contact me via forum message to get your prizes. For everyone, keep an eye out in the next few days for a new contest that will have the same rules for the special prize.
Once the winners contact me and their rewards are made, I will post the reward cards in this thread and have it closed.
The third place reward card has been made. @Tutlaschk requested a card that fit his Merchants of Alara set which deals heavily with the use of silver and gold tokens to generate additional mana. I figured that the only thing better than silver and gold was even more silver and gold: Interest

This version is less flavorful, but more internally balanced, i.e. it doesn't suck if you cant cast it via madness. Also, at X=2 its balanced to Hornet Queen, and madness x=1 its balanced to winged coatl.
