Oh, the memories...
This contest is all about cards from the beginning of Magic. Your task is to create a card with an old wording (abilities and/or flavour also count).
Here are some examples of cards with old wording: Vodalian War Machine or Diamond Valley. If that isn't clear enough, I made one myself.
Bonus points for:
- featuring an ability that hasn't been used since a long time ago (Banding, Landhome, Rampage: X)
- representing a non-modern storyline
- making the wording incomprehensible and really arabian-nights-like (yeah, i love cards with a complicated wording for a simple ability)
- a fitting art (credit the artist, please)
Prizes (this is my first contest, so i'm not really sure about these):
1st place: 5 favourites of my choice
2nd place: 3 favourites
3rd place: 2 favourites
Contest will end when i see that no one really cares about it, but let's stick with 1st April.
Be sure to make Old Fogey happy!
Note: Making old cards doesn't mean creating another power nine, be sure that the card is balanced, not Balanced.

Mystic and threshold, not sure how old those are, but I haven't seen them in ages

1st place: @fabiocbinbutter - Mystic Serpent: Brilliant wording, interesting effect. And bonus points for stating the sources.
2nd place: @Shadikal - Anthem of the Everflow: Awesome name, art and flavour text. Also it makes more sense when fabiocbinbutter explained me that it references Channel.
3rd place: @falloutimperial - Loving Sacrifice: Interrupt, cool effect and the flavor text from Shakespeare.
Thanks to everyone who participated!
