  Direct damage means that it has to say something like this: blank deals blank damage to target blank and then you can just add varying things.

  Burn spell you say? What about a burn spell that can potentially wipe a board for 3 mana? What about a burn spell that you can cast targeting your own spell to insure the destruction?
