OTK Mini-Challenge: Premium Prize
Create a minimum of three cards with balanced casting cost per card, but when combined could result in dealing 15 damage in a single turn. You have a maximum of 8 mana to work with, but can be creative in paying for card effects in other ways. You and your opponent each have 15 life remaining. Is it even possible? Show me how.
This is a combination challenge, so its probably going to get a little crazy, but the person with the most balanced and interesting card design to pull the combo off will win. The prize is 30 days of Premium features for your Cardsmith account! (Premium members who win may gift the 30 days to another member.)
One submission per member, but you can edit the card links in your response as long as you can edit the post, until the last day.
This challenge will end March 30, you have one week so get started!

So since your saying minimum three cards someone could post something as simple as 5 lightning bolt effects and qualify as they'd (likely) still be under 8 mana?
Does this have to be an instant speed kinda kill or anytime will do?
Lastly, why is it important how much life I have? Do I have to kill them without killing myself? Things like Incite Rebellion and other "each player" style effects won't work because we will both die then?
Anytime an action is legal is fine, I stress the 8 mana limit just to give parameters per turn. The same goes for the life totals, so you don't sacrifice 18 life to deal 9 direct damage and get you over halfway there. If you die, you certainly don't win - do you?
First piece: Volcanic Reshaping
Second piece: Profitable Blaze
Third piece: Eruptions Embrace
Of course this assumes that you can cast two cards after destroying all the lands, check it out to see how. These cards would just love a home in an Omnath--ragemode--EDH list!
Quite happy with these now
The phyrexian unlife/ad nauseam decks that pop up in modern regularly may disagree.
Oh haha, got carried away with design in general forgot I needed to make 3
I'll make a card that you can cast for free if 4 or more of your lands were destroyed this turn
Thanks for the catch! Pay attention to above comment to witness resolution!
It is completed, see above!

This one goes two ways, either 0+8+8 or 9+3+3.

There was an 8 mana limit and it all had to deal the damage in a turn. Like the cards but I don't think your entry qualifies?

Play Stubborn Evangelist, play eager service targeting it, use Stubborn Evangelist's tap ability to prevent the next 1 damage to you, then play Channeled Conflagration with two copies, doing 15 damage to your opponent and 14 damage to you.

Okay, so this one needs to have like a pretty easily achievable scenario. Basically, there just need to be about six creatures in play, but the opponent needs to have five. So first you cast Mavash. Do nothing with him. Then cast Visi, but do not use the first ability to reveal cards. Instead, tap Mavash, and sacrifice Visi. You gain 1 life, and deal some damage to your opponent based on how many creatures you control. Then cast foulborn plague, and name Mavash as the creature. If the opponent has 5 creatures (which they should or you're not making it work), Mavash deals 10 damage for them sacrificing creatures, and foulborn plague picks up the rest.
Sorry this is kind of conditional, but I really didn't feel like making a group of cards with red and wanted to do something original. I may remake Visi a little to better accommodate.

Pandemic Coffer
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/pandemic-coffer-2
8 mana.
Play Gravespite Vampire.
4 mana.
Play Gravefeast Cleric.
2 mana.
Sacrifice Gravespite Vampire as either Kicker or to activate the ability. If Kicker, sac Zombie for ability.
2 mana.
Cast Pandemic Coffer for its alternate cost. It has lifelink.
Activate Gravespite Vampire's ability.
0 mana.
Good game.
8 mana
Cast Braveheart Igniter.
5 mana
Cast Vengeful Ferocity on Braveheart Igniter. Braveheart Igniter's prowess ability triggers.
4 mana
Cast Caldera Cyclops with Volcanic ability (Sacrificing 3 mountains). Vengeful Ferocity's ability triggers. When Caldera Cyclops enters the battlefield, Braveheart Igniter's ability triggers.
2 mana
Activate Caldera Cyclops' ability
0 mana
Attack with Braveheart Igniter (5/3) and Caldera Cyclops (10/3).
…if only having 3 mountains is allowed, you can deal 15 damage by 8 mana in a single turn.
Bluewater Faerie - http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/bluewater-faerie-1?list=user
It's my turn, I have 7 lands, 1 attacker, and four cards in my hand.
My opponent has 1 blocker and can finish me off on his next turn. He is tapped out with no cards in hand.
I play a land
8 mana
Declare attackers...

http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/unstoppable-2?list=user
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/slay-the-master-2
To win, you need to cast Harbringer of Endings for 5 mana, paying 6 life in the process. You can win in two ways:
• If your opponent gains control of Harbringer of Endings, they lose 6 life. Now you cast Slay the Master, which makes him/her lose 9 life. They are now dead!
• If you gain control of Harbringer of Endings, you lose 6 life, but you are still alive! Cast Unstoppable on Harbringer of Endings and you can bulldoze your opponent down!
Thanks, Faiths_Guide!
It needs to read "...damage to it's controller..." to function as intended.
Edit: Now it works
XD
We have 8 entries but 10 would be better!!

I know we all have wanted a "infinite copy spells" combo, so here is mine. I had to get creative with the "twincast" variants mainly because I didn't want to just use twincast nor use the same spell twice, but I liked both spells
I just saw this post so I had to do some quick thinking and make two of the cards on my phone (no access to the computer this late at night) So sorry for the sub par art and design.
Step 1.

Step2.
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/paineater?list=user
Step 3.
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/spirit-shot?list=user
Cast Spirit Shot on your PainEater but do not counter it but instead dealing 4 damage to the opponent and 8 to you due to At All Costs.
Then PainEater comes into play with 8 +1/+1 counters due to Spirit Shot and +1/+1 and haset due to At All Costs.
Swing 11 with PainEater.
Win!
