Legendary Lands
Lets make some lands, shall we?
Rules:
1.Must be a legendary land (Duh)
2.Must be mythic rare
3.Must produce mana of some sort
4.Should be balanced
Prizes:
For the winner I will make a 36-card deck that revolves around the colors (and theme) of the legendary land. (36 cards, to allow for the 24 lands of a normal deck.)

And here is the black knight I made for it. (Because I'm sure you all care sooo much, right? XD)

Definitely a build-around-me type of card, because it doesn't do anything with colored spell, which is a huge drawback. Still, in an all artifact or mostly all artifact deck, it is a very nice powerhouse.
Interesting version of City of Brass and the like, because unlike the rest, you don't lose life, and discarding becomes a mandatory drawback unless you can abuse it (looks at delve), and the second ability can get you back anything you discard or any sorceries and instants at the price of losing 1 life unless you return a permanent you control to your hand (looks at ETB effects). So, you can either look at it as a negative card in a deck with no synergy, or a paradise if you can abuse it.
EDIT: @Bolt7
You realize how dangerous the second ability is, right?

Luckily the deck your making isn't a Commander deck, because this is WAAAAY too OP in the format.
(Let's just ban it from Commander to be safe)

These are the lands from a cycle I designed for the collaboration set called "Politik". The set is designed for multiplayer game.

This really had no theme other than it was made for a dream and nightmare set for some event. Though I think it died off. So pretty much wing whatever you want to go with it man.

Look at the flavor text of "Chant of the Skisfang" from Dark Ascension.

Just to let you know, it might be a week or so before I start on the deck, as of the fact I'm running a tight time schedule. I will make all the cards with the same symbol as the winning card. (The gear)
1st: @XX_Superbia_XX The Center, Nexus of Magic
Reasons: First of all, it will be very fun to build around, as it gives me something to work with, while not restricting me to a certain set of colors. I will probably make a black/white sacrifice/return deck around it. Second, it is nicely put together, and looks appealing. Also, the fact that it is balanced always helps. Good job!

Honorable Mentions: (I will give each of these a favorite.)
@EatSleepTap Wastes of the Fallen Thrones
This one was so close to winning. It is so nicely built, with a definite artifact feel and look about it. One of the few reasons it didn't win was that I felt it was a bit restricting to make it be only colorless spells. Good job, though.

@Damnation Shrine of the False One
Also a very nice card. One of the major drawbacks for me, however, was the fact that it would be very hard to build around unless you have the exactly right cards. A deck with this card in it would unfortunately be more likely to mill itself to death than actually reap rewards. Nice picture, bye the way!

@Noobplayzgames Graves of the Prophet
Really neat idea, unfortunately you made the rewards for sacrificing a legendary a bit to little for me. I would have said maybe three mana in any combination to really make it work. But hey, that's just me.

@strongbelieves Meletis Market
If I were ranking these, I would say this came in third. Very well thought through, being able to store your mana, and not only store it, but turn it colorless. A very, very nice card. The one drawback for me would be the fact that it has an option for sacrificing a legendary artifact. Honestly, if you had made that instead be something along the lines of "Tap, sacrifice an artifact you control, add one colorless mana to your mana pool" it would have been better.

@Tomigon Wilheld, Flying Woodland
I like the thought that went through this one. It would have strict guidelines, but put in the right deck it would make a powerful addition. I think the one reason it didn't win was because it costs two mana to make one of a different color. That drains your mana, making it have a very major drawback.

Congrats to ALL the winners and participants!
@strongbelieves I understand that, and with that said, your reasoning is sound. I just figured it would be hard to create a deck around having a fair amount of legendary artifacts.

First of all, I would have it add one red to your mana pool, instead of colorless. This would definately add to the flavor of the card. Second, I would add an additional cost to the fight. It's WAY too OP to have it tap to fight. Other than that, nice card!
