No, no, I totally get it. It makes sense, I was just clarifying why I struggled with it. I'll definitely make an effort to be more lenient in the future, but I don't feel it would be appropriate for me to change my votes for this now. As it stands, I'm pretty comfortable with the choices I made.
@Futbol - The cards have already been made... this is so people can vote for their favorites of the ones entered. Anyone can vote... just check out the first page, look t the song/cards and then vote for the ones you like the most!
Sorry for the delay. Was gone the entirety of yesterday on a field trip to the Big Apple. My class didn't get back until 10 and my
Thanks to everyone who voted... however, since we didn't get enough votes, looks like it's time for me to vote and tally up all the votes.
Rock/Folk:
Confrontation (9.7): Ouch! This can really suck for a defensive deck. No way to really describe how good it is until you play it! Only thing I'd wager is that it should cost a little more due to it's potential. Should I attack and leave myself defenseless? Or should I stay safe and lose life?
Storm the Sorrow (9.5): This could have some fun interactions. First off, it's a major risk vs. reward card. Second, life loss! Lastly, I'd like to see what chaos ensues if this were to be destroyed! A very nice, very simple card.
The Victor (9) Now this one just speaks "charge!" to me. This can lead to a major strategic battle: should I have my opponent gain life, or shall I lose life? A major discouragement to chump blocking. It's majorly undercosted though.
Pop/Electronic:
Limitless Potential (10): That's one way to top scry. I'd love to have this card any day. Nothing wrong to see here. It even has a balanced benefit if you pay 0 for X!
Light in the Dark (8.5): It was a hard decision between this and Lunera, but this one took the cake in my opinion. Though overcosted in my opinion, it's effect is very nice, and it has an elegant flavor.
Angel of the Skyways (9.5): Probably the simplest in the contest, but one of my favorites. Simple, but effectively good.
Classical:
Noche Acosador (9.5): Slow burn for benefit? Almost as cruel as black gets! Not much to say about this one, but that's for the better.
