Fate counter already exists, but as far as I know it's very rare. The rule doesn't say you can't use existing ones.

When Wish of the World enters the battlefield, put a wish counter on each creature you control.
2: each creature you control with a wish counter on it gains a choice of Flying, Vigilance, First Strike, Menace, or Trample until end of turn.
wurbg: each creature you control with a wish counter on it gets +4/+4 until end of turn.
1: put a wish counter on target creature.

@Tomigon can the deadline be the 25th? I know that sounds greedy, but I want to enter but can't today as I am too busy with non-MTG stuff. You certainly don't have to if you don't see the need or simply don't want to.
