25+ cards, with art, render, from the custom set "Adast" (Name is WIP) - Come and check it out :)!
Hey! Thank for you for showing an interest in the custom set - Currently it is being developed by me, @Cryptonight, @Linjam, @Touchstone, @Lujikul @Cyborgskeleton and @StrongBelieves. More collaborators are STILL welcome. Playtesting is due in about a week.
I want to show off some mechanics first, then, at the bottom I will provide a link to the entire album !
First off, we have the spellshapers:
Now this is a pre-existing WotC mechanic, but we're tuning it a bit and giving it a spin in form of...
the "WhenScry" cycle (which, by the way, has nothing to do with scrying, just a codename!).
"Spellshaping" has now become a form of an "action" - Despite the fact that it, like Landfall, is an ability word and thus has no actual rules implications, we have decided that "it is so", simply because it was the way it made most sense !
We're making a charm cycle, one for each house! Currently only one of the Houses are named, thus the card names are placeholders, for now:
This is the green charm - The charms are unique since you can pick two modes. Do you know how hard it is to find 5 depictions of a "charm" or a "pendant" by the SAME artist? And we have two cycle of them, another one in rare :x!
You can find the rest in the link below!
Say hello to the Qi!
The Qi are the "magicless" inhabitants of the plane. Which is to say, they're not actually without mana, as mana flows through all living beings, they just don't actively wield it... So, they are like most other people on other planes. But when you're a "normal" person on a Plane full of Mages, you tend be considered less "normal" and more of an "oddity". The Qi are integral to our story, which you can read up on a bit, here: Google doc! - We update this from time to time
The block has a heavy multicolored theme, and we even encourage playing 5-colored if possible (though that is a bit hard to do in draft!), so we're making a cycle of mana rocks that grant five colors, here's a preview of the white one:
So far, we're making only commons, as we work towards being able to do all-commons playtesting soon.
Here is a link to all the completed work (Or almost completed) - Only the cards rendered by me, though - here: http://imgur.com/a/WFFD7

Oookaaayyy.... right? :
Don't know what I'm supposed to say to that, it's just a supertype for the block! That way we can add it to artifacts, and artifacts are almost unique to the Qi in the block. That way, it's not just Rally 2.0, because we can have Qi Instants, Sorceries, Enchantments (There will only be a few of those, though) and, more importantly, Qi Artifacts.
It's somewhat like Tribal, except it's not attached to a creature type. Being "Qi" is a state of being, and it's something that any given inanimate object technically is until infused, and that living beings that are "magicless" are.
If I was on the team I'd be *strongly* against it :P
Why? Tribal is even more janky, since it adds creature types to non-creature spells X-x
This way, we're limiting those kinds of interactions and adding complete clarity. Does it have the Qi supertype? Then it's a Qi spell. No more "Why is this artifact a Goblin? It's quite clearly an artifact."

It's not a card type. It's a supertype. In many ways, it is COMPLETELY like Tribal, but without the creature subtyping to confuse.
That makes no sense, though. You like Tribal, but you don't like a functional reprint of tribal ._.?
A functional reprint of tribal without the theoretical (and purposeful) foundation behind the design of said.
This comes across as more of a lazy "get-around" then a flavorful/functional supertype to link a noncreature card to a specific race or group. IMO, my logic does make sense (at least in part).
I dare say I speak for most of us when I say that is pretty damn insulting. There is absolutely nothing "Lazy" about that - I suggest you read up on why Tribal is as it is, and then re-consider what I said the "Qi" supertype is supposed to do.
I guess I should be more careful. I had no intention of designating any of your work as lazy. I merely stated that it came across as lazy (from my brief cursory perusal). I prefer Tribal to Qi, that's all.
No offense intended, sorry for the misunderstanding. I can see how my statement could have been misleading.
Keep up the good work @Grimshac , @Cryptonight, @Linjam, @Touchstone, @Lujikul @Cyborgskeleton and @StrongBelieves!
