RAMP IT UP!!!
The concept of the mana curve is an important part of deckbuilding. There are things we call mana ramps, though, and having a mixture of things that will get you extra mana means you can cast spells ahead of the normal time that you could cast them in the game. This can be done through creatures that give you extra mana, getting extra lands on the battlefield, or various other means. Most of those are color-specific, and green has the majority of these. Any deck can use artifacts, though. This challenge is to see what you can do with artifacts that produce mana. You may submit up to 10 entries. The contest ends Sunday June 26. The winner gets 5 favorites, 2nd place 3 favorites, 3rd and 4th 2 favorites apiece, of the winner's choice.

@Lujikul Seat of the Lost http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/seat-of-the-lost This has a lot going on. You can use it to corrupt two creatures of the same name, make them legendary and one dies. As written you can get 2 mana if your opponent has a legend. The last ability should either change the Whenever to If so it's a replacement effect, or lose the words Would and Instead so it will be a simple triggered ability.
@FblthpTheStormCrow http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/pushing-forestscape Not a ramp, since you're sacrificing a land to put another land card on top of your library. The landfall ability needs a shuffle clause so you can't leave your library in any order you feel like. Not an artifact anyway.

Manaweave Dais http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/manaweave-dais?list=set&set=11196 It's a bit odd being a triggered mana-producing ability, but works.
Mystical Mox http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/mystical-mox-2?list=set&set=11196 One mana less broken than a Black Lotus. At a minimum, it should have text limiting it to one-per-deck so someone doesn't get 4, 6 or 8 mana off these on the first turn. Even being Legendary wouldn't help since you drop one pop it, then put down the next.

Sol Automaton http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sol-automaton?list=user This is a ramp for only the first 2 turns IF the single copy in your deck happens to be in your opening hand AND you'd rather exile it than have a first turn bear.
@Maxandemmy Halo Throne Card removed before judging. Rather odd and OP anyway, giving 0 mana or 96 (per planeswalker) for 4.

@Mila Multicolored Gems http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/multicolored-gems-1?list=user That's a good one, with 3 mana total investment giving back three of any colors. Ramps on turn 3 to 5 mana. The Sacrifice should be part of the cost instead of the effect to prevent untap tricks getting extra mana.
Sunken Statue http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sunken-statue?list=user Excellent ramp! Requires creatures to be effective, but any color can use it. Similar to Reflecting Pool.
Crown of Eternity http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/crown-of-eternity-1 Well done! The wording Animist used for Grovarg Altar works a little better for the same effect. Great minds think alike!
@klmtg29 Ring of Sacrifice http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ring-of-sacrifice-1 That's an interesting equipment. It's not the greatest ramp unless the creature cost 1 or 0 mana, but you do get to use it on another turn than it was equipped and it also filters colors.
@Zanmato Verrona Qiren http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/verrona-qiren-1 Since the card returned as random, it's an uncertain ramp - either doubles all your land mana production or does nothing. In either case, it's not an artifact.
