Cardsmith RPG?
Anyone wanna do an RPG on this thread? I can GM! All you have to do is make a card to represent your character, or pick an existing card you already made, post it in this thread, and we'll go from there!

When building the character, you could have to decide, which 'skill' gets which die for example. When attacking for example, you roll your die you add the base points, you have and check if the attack roll plus base points is higher than the defense roll plus base points, the character has, you're fighting with. Damage could also be 1d4 to 1d8 depending on what kind of weapon or spell you use.
I'd suggest another skill like dexterity for things like climbing, juggling, stunts of all kind and things like sleight of hand and picking locks.
Another idea is, that you can use light weapons, when you have attack poor, medium weapons when you have attack average and twohanded weapons, when you have attack good. Light weapons are daggers and stuff and deal 1d4 damage, medium weapons are longswords and simmilar stuff and deal 1d6 damage and twohanded weapons are stuff like greathammers and deal 1d8 damage.
Same with armor. Light armor (leather) may be used with defense poor. With them, you may substract 1 point of damage, you were dealt, medium armor (chainshirt) with defense average and you may substract 2 points of damage, and have to substract 1 point from what you have as dexterity. Heavy armor (full plate) with defense good. Substract 2 points of damage and 1 point of dexterity.
Poor magic lets you cast small spells like minor illusions (small flame bright like a candle) and harm spells with little effect (electrical spark, dealing 1d4 damage), average magic lets you cast better spells with a wider range of effects (alternate property changes color, size or materila of things, ice spear deals 1d6 of damage) good magic lets you create things and target a couple of people or things (a weapon appears in your hand or a fireball hits your enemies dealing 1d8 damage to one person or 1d4 damage to several enemies). Dexterity should work just like magic, so it could grade the things you can proberly do.
When creating the character, I suggest, you normally have average everywhere. When you choose to have good in a skill, you have to have poor in another skill. Every skill could begin with a base point value of 1. Whenever a character levels up, you can spend 2 points to increase the base points, you have in a skill.
What kind of setting do you want? I guess, fantasy, but are we gonna use the mtg backround?
This will be my character: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/master-of-the-shifting-sands

Her name is Kiptra and she grew up in a large city as the daugter of a wealthy merchant family. Her parents died as a plauge killed hundreds of people in that town and had to make a living all by herself. She isn't really evil, but rather neutral and uses her talents to make money. She's quite dexterous and tricky, since she's not very strong.
She appears to be sly and cold as ice, but on the inside, she's just misttrustful and affraid of being robbed or worse. Actually, she's just looking for friends and when you gained her trust, she's very loyal and follows you wherever you lead.
As a matter of fact, she knows that what she's doing is not really the best way to make a living, but up to now, She didn't find a reason (or a worthy person) that could make her change her live.
Here her stats (if we take the system I suggested)
attack: 1 poor (1d4), defense: 1 average (1d6), magic: 1 average (1d6) dexterity: good (1d8)
weapons: two daggers (damage 1d4), armor: light armor (leather, -1 damage)
Her name is Lina Trutharm. People just call her Lina. She was born in a small vilage near mountains as a daughter of masters of the monk order called Shifting Sands. She was trained by her father in way of balance. She is really fast and evasive at the cost of her strength.
Appearance: She has short white hair and very skinny body. She has leather armor in golden and brown colour. She is quite mysterious and most people only know her name. She don't want to talk about her past. It almost seems that she is trying to hide something.
Even though balance is her greatest strength it can become a thing that pulls her down with rest of her friends.
