Custom Mechanix
So...
I am in love with new mechanics. From weird ones I've created to the popular ones of @Faiths_Guide, they all have a feel to them. Even some of the ones that are old up to the 1990s have a rhythm to them, such as um... I can't think of any... Flanking maybe... I don't know... Oh yeah, Horsemanship was the best. It's so troll because it's only in that one set and no one uses it.
Anyways...
I want you to create your own new mechanics. They must be present in a card. They will be graded by effectiveness and other things. They should be relatively weird and related to a custom story on how it would work.
And...
It will not be graded on effectiveness in constructed gameplay. The card will focus mainly on the mechanic, but I am hoping that the mechanics will be present in secondary abilities of the card.
However...
No old cards! Old cards apparently ruin everything, for those that make them and for me. @Faiths_Guide knows what I mean. I am still hoping that they will be good. Actually, you can have up to 7 entries.
Even still...
The prizes will be awesome. They will be trophies, custom character cards and favorites, depending on the joiners.
Lastly...
Have fun, and do well. I don't want the same people winning my competitions every time.

Whenever a permanent would become untapped, but it already untapped, it becomes energized. Thus, permanents with energize will usually become energized during their controllers' untap steps if they're already untapped. However, if an effect prevents a permanent from untapping during its controller's untap step, it won't become energized even if it's already untapped.
At the beginning of the end of combat step, any energized creatures that attacked or blocked during this combat phase lose energized status. This is a special action that doesn't use the stack.
When an energized permanent activates an ability, that permanent loses energized status as part of the resolution of that ability after all other parts of the ability have resolved.

RedRageMage, Favored Foe also makes a lot of sense, but it seems a bit hard to construct on...
Condemn N (If this creature isn't condemned, it gets +N/+N until end of turn and it becomes condemned. Sacrifice it at the beginning of the next end step.)
Purge X (As an additional cost to cast this card, pay X life.)

When this creature enters the battlefield, you may pressure target creature with lower power.

EDIT: Pressure no longer evades hexproof

Got it
Love squirrel Vader.
The mechanic is used mostly to increase the value of creatures who will interact with instants and sorceries. Think of it as an extension of the Young Pyromancer, except each elemental created is a unique creature born of the spell cast. All living spell creatures are elementals by nature.

For clarification sake, in the entry limit do you mean seven cards or seven mechanics? I'd like to use a few cards each to illustrate my mechanics. I don't plan to reach seven mechanics, but I do want to maybe exceed seven cards total between two to three entries.
Here's his/her card: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/ontwath-phyrexian-dragonlord
And there's what I made out of it: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/phyrexian-hoardkeeper
So, Ontwath would have Scatter 4.
