Merchants of the MTG-Universe (See Prizes!)
All right my fellow businessmen!!!
In this contest, I want you to bring the TRADE into the MTG-Universe.
In my opinion, the allure in multiplayer games is the amount of diplomacy they provide. Who doesn't know sentences like "Look at my board, Im not dangerous" or "If you attack him, I won't exile your Doubling Season". In multiplayer, it is therefore important to be good with the Cards and the other Players.
So long story short, here are the rules:
It can be old, it can be new,
I'll leave this up to you (look at dis epic rhyme)
I want a special mechanic on your card, that refers to multiplayer!
It can be something like:
- Exchanging cards in mid game with opponents and teammates (voluntarily or not)
- Cards, that opponents (and teammates) can use too
- Cards like Spectral Searchlight, that can be used in other player's favor
- Cards that have a reference to the TRADE, LAW and/or ECONOMICS
- You can also do something with a kind of currency like Gold or Silver.
- Just try to stay in the theme
Please no more than two submissions per Smith.
DA PRIZES
1rst place gets 5 LIKES
2nd place gets 3 LIKES
3rd place gets 1 LIKE
But this three places will also get advanced criticism for one of their sets!!! OMG!!! :O
It is not necessary that the set contains the right amount of cards. I'll comment on the cards you have and your current and future ideas. I'll give feedback to your set in general and to at least 10 of your cards (more if you want to).
What do you think of this?
I'll like anything you submit here, if it fits the theme!
Contest ends at 14th of august.
So lets have some Fun Party Peoples!!!

@Grimshac made better formatting for this one: http://imgur.com/HoAYm4G
New mechanic -
Belief [cost] (You may cast this card without paying its mana cost. If you do, each other player may pay [cost]. If no mana is paid this way, counter this spell.)

Now, one of my all time favorites:
Copper is different than Gold, Copper must be tapped to produce mana.
The theme of this card is that of loans, accounting, accountability, and collection (often forcible collection). Cash has a way of burning a hole in one's pockets, but, just in case it doesn't catch fire quick enough, there are the thugs that will "politely entreat" us to repay in a timely fashion. Cherish and horde your wealth at your own risk!
If you tap an artifact that produces more then one mana (Sol Ring etc.) this will only give your opponents one Copper. Each Copper you sacrifice will also give them one.
You'll be providing a hefty loan in no time, but you will expect it back, with interest, or else!
We are, aren't we?

Both require a player to have a lot of lands, which is kind of inherent wealth of a player

I'm sorry, but I don't see your first entry fit this contest. You may chose another card.

Thought some of you might be interested!
the decision was very hard this time, because of the lot of awesome entries.
1rst place goes to @MrRansom and his "Bounteous Market".
—> I really like this card, because it brings the new trading-aspect to the MTG-game as no other card does. My only worry is, that it could be too expensive to actually use it in game, because your opponents can use it either.
2nd place goes to @Connor2001 and his "Arashin Auction Centre".
—> My exact thoughts to this card: "Whoa, chaos is rising!" Nice! I think it would be even more awesome, if it was also blue
3rd place goes to @Tomigon and his "Rotting Wind".
—> This is the type of card I miss in each of my multiplayer-games! Like!
I also really liked many other cards you did! You guys are awesome!!! But most of all I want to mantion @DingusXeon and his "Morbid Gardener".
Ok, the three winners can now write down here, which cards they want to have liked and which set they want an advanced feedback for. I start with the feedback in order "first come, first serve"
Have nice day!
