Though it's sort of against contest rules, the hydra absolutely can be 5/5. I just wanted to give it something closer to the traditional hydra ability of +1/+1 counters while distinguishing it from the others of the type..
Made it with a heavy commander theme.

You're saying that even though Ulamong and Kozilek were burnt to a crisp, that was only part of them, and they're still out there in the blind eternities?

Though it can be great against eldrazi, it also serves fantastically against artifacts. Unfortunately, if your opponent is not playing artifacts or eldrazi, I don't think you want to pay 7 mana for this guy
